Mtwalume is a little seaside village, nestled between Pennington and Hibberdene, boasting a beautiful clean swimming beach and tidal pool. Long walks, jogging, boogie boarding, rock and surf fishing, rock pools, surfing, swimming and snorkelling can all be found, mere 700 m away.
The chalet can accommodate up to 4 adults and 4 children, and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a double bed. Beautiful sea views can be enjoyed from the main bedroom. The second bedroom contains a bunk bed and a double bed. There is a built-in bunk bed in the lounge area. The downstairs bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The upstairs bathroom contains a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, chest freezer, full-size oven, other small appliances and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. There is a 2-plate gas cooker and rechargeable lights, for use during load shedding. The lounge area contains a Smart TV. You are also welcome to bring your WIFI Router along. Outside there is a patio with outdoor furniture, umbrella and braai facilities and a potjie pot.
The resort boasts a beautiful large communal swimming pool, lovely established gardens, and parking for trailers and boats. There is a restaurant in the resort. Access is via an electric gate. Back-up water supply is also provided.
Activities in the surrounding areas are endless and include something for the whole family; golfing, surfing, hiking, bird watching, horse rides, beach restaurants, bars and much more. With the subtropical climate, glorious summers and tempered winters, and warm sea temperatures, one can enjoy a beach holiday all year through.

The kids loved it so much and want to go there again!
WiFi needs to be installed. The back-up system for load-shedding needs to be in place. Also, have a backup water system in place.
Great area, ideal for families with small children. The beach is perfect for swimming with the kids. The area is nice and quiet and we would definitely love to go again.

House rules
Number of guests is restricted to the number of guests booked. No more than 8 guests are allowed.No hen parties or bachelor parties are permitted. This property is ideal for families and groups. Groups of only 8 men or 8 women are not allowed.
We are pet friendly but only under strict conditions. Please enquire when booking as to the additional fee per pet. They will need to be fully vaccinated.
Fireworks are not allowed.
There is a Smart TV with a DStv connection should guests wish to bring their own DStv decoder, smart card, cables, and remote with them.
