The apartment was very neat and clean. We enjoyed the view and it was lovely to hear the waves in the evening. Lydia was very nice and gave us great advice on what we could do in the area. Very nice place. Thank you for a lovely stay.
I would definitely want to come back. The view is breath-taking and amenities are great, not to mention the perfect weather. Safety of complex gives one peace of mind while enjoying visiting restaurants and the Market. Many attractions and so little time! Simply love it!

L. W. there are three sets of eight stairs each to the apartment. With a week's stay, cleaning is done once, linen and towels are replaced.
The house is very neat and it is nice to walk about 50m to be on the sea. Was great to see some whales while we were there.
Loose carpets in room and living room need a wash. Furthermore, everything was clean and tidy. And convenient.
Nice development once inside and away from the surrounding industrial fish farm and factory. Great views of the ocean and within earshot of the crashing waves. Hostess at Whale Rock (Lydia) was friendly and welcoming and apartment was nice but needs some attention to detail to make it better. Will we be back? Not sure.
Beautiful, secure estate. Hermanus' weather was cold and wet. No damper on our oversleeping. Will definitely want to visit Hermanus again and would love to stay in 49 Whalerock again!
Only sorry for the last day's double booking so I had to quickly find another night to sleep over. Try to prevent it.

I used to stay at Whale Rock a lot as a kid. It was so nice to go back again 10 years later and see that everything is still as idyllic as I remember. This particular apartment is beautiful! It is very neat, in a safe complex, fast service, very nice facilities. It is one of the few places built so close to the sea. There is also no fence at all that separates you from the sea. You like to hear and see how the waves break against the rocks. It's just beautiful. Would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Hermanus! I myself will definitely make a visit there again!
