Me, my wife and our three teenage children really enjoyed the four days at 5 Folkestone. The service was excellent and when our car battery died on the morning we had to go home (Easter Sunday), the management of 5 Folkestone went out of their way to help us and drive through Port Elizabeth on Easter Sunday looking for to an open battery center to make sure we could get on the road. We will definitely visit again!

What a well-equipped kitchenette. Together is the best place to be: around the table or on the balcony for a meal, lounging to plan activities or braai on the balcony: all with a lovely sea view. Walking distance to the lovely Hoby beach and the Boardwalk Mall. Spacious and cosy.
Everything one needs. Safe, secure parking, quiet neighborhood, close to beach and places to eat, tidy and lots of space. They can double their rates!

We were very kindly received and were so surprised with all the small details of the place. The children really enjoyed the pool. It's so peaceful and even though you're 2 streets away from the main beach it doesn't feel that way. We will visit again anytime.

Two blocks up from the sea, central safe area in Summerstrand. Parking arranged for trailer as well. Pool on the premises. Very clean, comfortable place. Aircon was not working, fans provided however not used as safe to leave windows open and always a cool breeze blowing. Great place for an overnight stay as well as longer holidays. our rooms included all basic requirements and full size fridge/freezer which is a bonus for overnight travellers wishing to freeze drinks for the road. Great hosts providing regular detailed communication and updates.
