The main bedroom and lounge have direct access to a wide terrace with 90 degree sea view and 90 degrees in-land-view, outdoor furniture and a gas barbeque.
Four kilometres of beautifully soft sandy beach washed by the warm Indian Ocean stretches either side of La Mer. The beach, accessed by a private gate, is a few minutes' walk from the apartment and offers excellent fishing off the beach, safe swimming in shark-net protected waters, blissful sunbathing and endless sandcastle building opportunities. The lagoon at the mouth of the Lovu River is a haven for bird watching and canoeing.
La Mer is well maintained with lush gardens and a sparkling swimming pool and kiddies pool with barbeque facilities and a club house. The complex has 24-hour security, undercover parking for one vehicle, plus ample open parking for visitors. The main coastal highway is out of view and earshot, but is 10 minutes' drive away offering easy access to some of South Africa's top game parks, dive sites, nature reserves, golf courses and other coastal attractions.

8 guests' feedbackThe apartment is very good. Everything was in good condition, clean and tidy. The beds and couch were very comfortable. Communication was also very good. When signing the contract, there was an error that only 1GB of WiFi was available and that additional data would cost extra. Upon inquiry it was corrected. There are no limits on the WiFi.
La Mer is slightly removed from supermarkets and restaurants, which makes self-catering accommodation somewhat more difficult than otherwise.
Everything was stunning except the extra R500 for a stay shorter than a week is really a lot. And that I have to wait 14 days for the deposit to be refunded while I had to pay it in cash the day of arrival.
It was absolutely stunning, exactly as the photo's. Will definitely be back and recommend the place.
Had a great stay. The cleanliness was exceptional and the luxury top notch. There is no shortage of any equipment. The downside was the commotion early in the morning.
The place is very clean and neat. We have enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant stay, kids enjoyed it, we enjoyed it. The days that the weather did not play along were spend at the close by mall and also at the pool. parking area underneath the building is tight for a double cab but there were other parking also available that made it easy for us.
