It was deliciously warm in the room despite the freezing cold of winter. The bed was soft and the room had the most beautiful decor. Very good and friendly service. A thousand thanks for the delicious breakfast the next morning. That cornbread recipe is gold. Will definitely be back again when I'm in Welkom again.
The apartment was very neat and decor very nice! Very friendly owners and went out of their way to help where they could. Will definitely stay there again.

The place is nice and clean, there were even electric blankets on the beds. The owner was very friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend the place.
We had a beautiful stay, nice and quiet. We were grateful they had electricity blankets and extra blankets. Suggestions: Add the panel heater for the lounge to keep it warmer especially in winter. It was just too cold to sit in the lounge. Add garbage bags in the bin. We felt bad to throw garbage in the bin, we had to improvise with grocery bags. All in all we had a great stay.
Plekkie is very peaceful and quiet. First host made it feel like it was an effort to help us. The apartment is very well furnished, but could have been cleaner. There were cobwebs everywhere outside under the canopy, the lights were full of cobwebs too. For someone with a phobia of spiders, it was quite terrifying. There were also cobwebs in basically every room inside the apartment. It's summer and it's mosquito season, master bedroom was full of the pesky stuff. Provided Doom/Raid in the apartment would have been appreciated. Host who helped us on Sunday was much friendlier.

We attended a wedding in Welkom and 51 on Church was the perfect place to stay for the occasion. Everything we needed for the weekend was provided, and the host went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. I would recommend this anytime for a family that prefers self catering facilities.

Beautiful setting, only had a problem with dog poo in the parking area and having to wake at 09:00 to check out so that the cleaning staff could do their work. The alarm goes on at twelve so you better be in before. Always room for improvement and flexibility. Good luck.
We stayed here only for one night, but can definitely recommend 51 On Church. The garden and rooms are beautiful and most definitely a getaway. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home. Will definitely stay there again!
We were very impressed with the accommodation provided. We were just not sure if it included breakfast and tea and coffee station, but I am sure we will stay here again if we in the area and need accommodation.

The accommodation, service, breakfast and service were top notch. We as a family really enjoyed staying here and are not far from the businesses and also not far from the Medi-Clinic. We had a great stay for two nights and the apartment was very comfortable and very tidy. The apartment had everything we needed and I even had a barbecue on Saturday night. Our hosts made an extra effort with our barbecue. The guest house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood and is value for money. We would stay at 51 on Church again anytime.

Disorganised arrival, broken gate on arrival, owners didn't seem particularly helpful other than the absolute basics. Departing was complicated as I had to find the owner to open the garage. Experience was more in line with renting a room in a private home than a professional B&B.
