8 guests' feedbackWe were a group of friends with children. Had a great stay. Close to shops and beaches. Place was nice and clean and children really enjoyed the pool.
The host Dawn was very informative and friendly, the place was serviced daily and kept clean a great plus when on holiday. They have backup lights and fans for load shedding and also for the TV a great plus during load shedding. The location is good, not too far from the hustle of town or to the beach and entrance to iSimangaliso Wetland Park either. Thank you, Dawn we had a great time. I must add the state of the roads going down from Johannesburg to St Lucia was a different story and was a challenge on its own, so from just after Piet Retief to just before St Lucia on the N2 were a lot of potholes and sinkholes, be very careful and safe.
The house was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 7 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby. It is close to shops and lots of eateries.
Will definitely recommend the place to many people who want to visit together! Spacious house with lots of space, so no one is under each other's feet! Children enjoy the pool! Would only advise that bath towels and bedding be changed more often especially in damp and wet weather!
The house is well located and within walking distance to the shops.
The place was wonderful and it was clean, the problem is that our opinion, during the visitors the owner must take a vacation also and not be around, for example she was checking everything we do, even on Sunday morning the time we wake up she was already cleaning on the braai area and and pool, even the helper came very early on Sunday while we are still busy with some other things because we knew the check out time and it was still early but they were already busy in the house, we even asked each other if they are doing the same thing if there are couples visiting here because there were no privacy at all, no TV access some other time especially on Saturday, we asked for Wifi password it was supposed to be available, but we had a wonderful time.
We where 6 adults and 2 children under 11 years, and we all had a fantastic time. 57 Pelican street is very quiet, and only a few minutes walking distance from Town Centre.
Pleasant, nice. Conveniently located.
