We really enjoyed our stay at 59 Markstraat. It was a very nice and big house. The rooms are beautiful. The location is perfect. We rested well. The living room is also very nice.

Safety concern. Beggars walk in at back gate and bother at back door. Living room furniture extremely uncomfortable. The place needs a deep clean. Garden disappointingly neglected. Washing machine dirty and roof leaking.

Well equipped cottage with everything needed for a peacful and relaxing weekend. Perfectly situated. Excellent value for money. If ever I come to Prince Albert again, this will be my only choice!
The front and back porch duties were out of order and were only replaced the morning we left. It was therefore dark at both of the braai areas. Photos can be very misleading and present a place different from what it really is. The accommodation fared poorly in terms of price and what it offered compared to two previous stays in Prince Albert.
My son and I went home there. We had a great time but didn't need to cook as we did a course with Jeremy Freemantle from The Real Food Company. This is truly something I can recommend. We have our car behind the house in the very secure parking, parked for the weekend and could walk everywhere.
I think the the shower should be more enclosed. Change the toilet seat. Security gate on front door so door can be left open. More storage place needed in bedrooms, not enough decent clothing hangers. Existing cupboard not very large or stable. Not sufficient cupboard storage space in kitchen. Toilet roll holder required in bathroom. Scissors required in kitchen. Knives need sharpening. The complementary rusks and milk were very welcome. We really enjoyed the stay and definitely recommend 59 Mark street as an affordable, well located accommodation.
