Our stay at 5th Seasons was pleasant, from the time we arrived to the time we left. The accommodation is very nice and the staff very considerate.
Chantelle is amazing. We had the best weekend, the room is clean and was also cleaned on the second day. We enjoyed the rusks too. The rainy weather made it even more pleasant with the breathtaking view from the balcony.

The accommodation is beautiful and the view from the veranda breathtaking. Private and secure! Our unit was surrounded by trees so the bird life was fantastic. We were greeted early on our first morning by the roar of lions from the nearby wildlife park. It was very special. We could have easily just sat on the porch all day. We cannot recommend 5th Seasons Guesthouse enough. We will definitely be back! Many thanks to Chantelle and her team for the incredible service.
We had an amazing long weekend, the guesthouse was clean and well maintained with lovely views, and the host was friendly and helpful with directions and knowledgeable with regards to things to do in the area. I will definitely go back for a weekend or a few days.
On our arrival, Chantelle met us at the unit and gave us a very friendly welcome, she went through the unit with us and explained everything. The unit was stylish and comfortable for our overnight stay. There are quite a few stairs as can be seen in the photos for the unit but it gives you an amazing location. This is definitely one of the places I will use to sleep over on the way to Kruger.

The accommodation is a bit out of town, just far enough to take you away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to drive in quickly for a meal or shops. Chantelle en haar 5th Seasons Gastehuis bly maar ons oorblyplek van keuse nou al vir meer as 5 jaar wanneer ons in Mpumalanga is en haar toewyding aan haar gaste en haar plek het nog geensins afgeneem nie. Hierdie is nou een plek waar dit wat jy in werklikheid sien en kry, dit wat jy op die internet sien, by verre oortref. Die huisies is baie privaat en gee 'n in-die-bos-gevoel. Dit is baie smaakvol, skoon, netjies, baie gemaklik en die bed slaap lekker (op ons ouderdom baie belangrik). Ons maak 'n punt daarvan om hier oor te slaap en sal self 'n dag by ons reis voeg of ompad ry om so te kan maak. Ons gaan beslis weer daar oornag.
On the last minute my wife and I decided to go to the Kruger from Johannesburg for the Saturday over Easter weekend. We booked 2 nights at 5th Seasons based on good reviews and we were so glad that it was exactly as it's described on the website. The house was big and the facilities are neat and well equipped for a weekend away. The delicious rusks ans full DStv bouquet was a bonus and the Malelane gate to the Kruger was only an hour's drive. We will stay at 5th Seasons again next time we're in Nelspruit.
My husband and I were very impressed. It was pleasant and we felt very welcome. The room is beautiful, I loved the bath tub and the comfortable bed. We relaxed and enjoyed every moment.

5th Seasons is 'n liéflike plek en die rustigheid vanself. Dit is ongelooflik netjies en kan nie glo dit is net 5 km buite Nelspruit nie. Voel of ons in die bos was. Chantelle is super vriendelik en behulpsaam en staan reg vir enige iets wat nodig is en doen ongelooflik baie moeite. Sal verseker elke keer wat ek Nelspruit toe moet gaan, hetsy persoonlik of vir werk, daar gaan bly.
What a wonderful experience. One cannot actually believe that 5th Seasons is located only 5 km from Nelspruit, because we might as well have been in the bush. The tranquility and abundance of bird life was a wonderful treat for the soul. Our hostess, Chantelle, has the ability to make someone feel so special. Everything is planned down to the finest detail with fresh flowers on the bed, bath salts in the bath and even champagne in the fridge! Thank you for a wonderful weekend of lots of pampering.

The house is very luxuriously finished, but not fully equipped with everything necessary (eg broom, container for microwave heating, cutting board, dish cloths, salt, etc.). It also unfortunately only has one very small bathroom with only a shower, so it's not easy with small children. Very nice hostess and tidy house, but definitely feel it is too expensive for what you get.

An astonishing place where nature comes together with the everyday hustle and bustle.
The property is filled with huge trees with the sound of birds and little frogs to help you forget the city rush. Attention to the smallest detail and the beautifully designed interior will make you feel at home immediately. The Victorian bath is such a spoil, but the shower just as soothing to relax you even further. Drying of with the babysoft towels and slipping into the cotton-satin based linen in bed will let you drift of to a deep and dreamless sleep. Each cabin is completely private with no one else in sight with your own kitchen nook and a private braai area outside. I would not only recommend this to anyone wanting an out of city experience but only 5 minutes away from the city, but would stay here every time I get the chance. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Chantelle!

The hostess is very peaceful and makes you feel at home in the forest. The cottage is well equipped with very fine finishing. We will stay there again. (They just need to make sure their gas cylinders are full.)

We had a wonderful time relaxing in the afternoon and evening, and the bird sounds and relaxed environment were a welcome relief after a day's business in the city.
The cabin is equipped with all essentials as well as little extras which make the stay that more special and comfortable. The decor is lovely. The Victorian bath is luxurious and relaxing, shower head held promise of a good shower but the mixer's inability to have warm water was very disappointing. Showering came with only the options of ice cold or boiling hot water, making showering unpleasant. The only other shortfall was not being able to use the bathroom mirror effectively after sunset. The lighting in the bathroom is dim, and the nearest spotlight to the mirror is too far to illuminate the face correctly. Not a train smash, but installing a small light above the mirror to make it possible to use it at night would be great. Chantelle's warm welcome, attention to detail and quick response to any requests was a pleasure. The service was great. We have already recommended 5th Seasons :)
