I have enjoyed every moment of my stay at number 6 Edensands. Between the booking agent and the owner John everything from the onset to the end of my stay was perfect. The setting, more especially the evening, with the fresh sea breeze was captivating. My only regret was that I did not book longer. Thank you!

We had a great time. Will go again. And would recommend the apartment if you like to look at the sea at some time of the day. The sunrise is breathtakingly beautiful. I only have one suggestion to make, since it is self-catering, it would be nice if there was a pan to cook 2 or 3 eggs in the morning. Furthermore, we were very happy with 6 Edelsands.

Unbeatable views! A lovely flat with sliding windows so you can open for air. Very comfortable beds. The flat is well organized and clean and one can see that the owner really cares about their guests! Very easy access to a great swimming pool and being close to the shops makes life so much easier. Very easy access to a wonderful beach where you can walk for miles!
Will definitely use 6 Edensands again if I'm in that part of the country.

Incredible view. 180-degree sea view with lovely, large, clean windows. Als was clean, bedding and crockery. Mattresses sleep well. Older couples who can no longer go to the beach can relax there and feel like they are on the beach, while children go to the beach. Big bonus! Air fryer in the kitchen!

The place needs upgrading, personal attention. The electrical wires not up to standard, many loose wires (coc). Too many personal things in apartment.

I didn't know the area at all. We liked the view of the sea and that the center was practically on the back porch. The path down to the beach was also a plus. The swimming pool is almost on the porch, it was also a very nice experience because the water was clean and wonderful to swim in every day.
Place was neat and owner keep on checking.
Would suggest an aircon, is quite hot in the unit, although there are fans. But the unit was neat and clean. Furniture is a bit old but it gives character. The view is fantastic. Will go back again.

We flew down and were there for 5 nights. The place is beautiful neat and clean. The sea view is absolutely breathtaking and we spent hours just sitting and looking at the sea and we had great family time like that. We also saw a school of dolphins frolicking in the waves. The shops are very close with everything you need. I will definitely go back to Edensands no 6 again but this time only for much longer. Wow what a wonderful experience!
I don't want to criticize because I myself do restoration on houses etc. and negative criticism is not pleasant at all, and costs are also important. Attention can be paid to the bedding, washing curtains and cleaning furniture, but we will discuss again if this is the will of the Lord.

Clean top floor apartment with the best sea view. It was lovely to sit on the balcony every morning with a cup of coffee and look out at the sea and fishermen. Host John is very helpful and it was a pleasure to share with him. Would definitely recommend 6 Edensands for a peaceful getaway. Complex very clean too.
We had a lovely stay at number 6 Edensands. John is very helpful. The location is like no other and hearing the waves at night is a comforting way to go to sleep. The unit is very well equipped and we didn't need anything during our stay.
The flat was clean when we arrived. The sliding windows on veranda was a super plus, to enjoy the view of the ocean. The complex pool and gardens was kept clean. In general this a awesome and secure place to come and relax.
Place had a great view. Had all the equipment we needed, the place was neat and the pool was clean and safety was 100%.
The location was perfect, right by the beach. The best unit in the complex in my opinion. You had the perfect spot to watch the sunrise from the comfort of the rocking chair while having coffee. There were even dolphins twice in the water. Take binoculars. I wished for mine everyday. We were also able to watch the locals fishing on the rocks out front. And to the right there was the view of the beach for a couple of kilometres. Since the unit was ideally located, and with private access to the beach, we were able to venture down at any time and could see when the beach was quiet (which in September it always was). No over crowding. From the bedroom, you could hear the waves every night. I would absolutely love to go back there.

The owner was nice enough to arrange for us to check in earlier. The unit has a beautiful view of the beach. However, the cleanliness of the unit lacks some attention. The windows looking out to the sea were not cleaned and the kitchen needs attention as the stove and oven were very dirty and we had to wash the crockery before we could use it. Apart from the cleanliness of the unit, it was a great getaway.
I had an amazing view of the beach and the place was very comfy to be in. The place could do with a bit of a lift, but none the less a very nice place to be.

It's one of the nicest spots by the sea I've ever stayed at. The people are all so friendly. What stood out for me is that they leave you to do your thing, as long as you adhere to the rules, you don't see or hear anything. It's so refreshing. Beach is very close and swimming pool is great for those hot summers.
Such a perfect spot for holiday right by the pool and best view in the complex. The unit Is well equipped with everything you need and more.
The view over the sea is breathtaking. The complex offers 2 security guards who patrol in the evenings and you really feel very safe here. The swimming beach is about 300 m along the beach from the apartment. The exit on the beach prevents you from having to drive, because the parking at the beach area is limited. People do swim on the beach in front of the apartment, but there are no lifeguards there. If you like long walks on the beach, this is the apartment to stay at.
We had a good time, slept well and enjoyed the place. We never had to worry about anything.
The apartment is excellently located with the most beautiful view of the sea. It's really easy to get to the beach. The pool in the complex is lovely and very clean. Items in the apartment could be cleaned better, such as some of the kitchen items and barbecue grills. The owner is really very helpful.
We had a great time living here. Very close to the sea, and with a lovely neat swimming pool. It's wonderful to open the windows and hear the roar of the sea and waves. Lovely beaches with nice swimming spots. Will definitely stay here again.
The corner unit offers a good breathtaking view of the sea, and is close to the beach and shops. Very neat resort. Good safety and security. The unit unfortunately needs a lot of work. Kitchen is dilapidated, old and needs to be renewed. Mattresses must be replaced. All furniture is old and can also be replaced. It can't last forever. The unit's braai facilities are pathetic at this fantastic resort. The unit's braai was filled with mould and had to be cleaned well. All cutlery needs to be replaced, was very dirty on arrival, as well as the laundry rack was broken and had to be fixed in a way so we could hang our towels. Bathroom was clean as well as all the floors and clean bedding. So if you're very particular, the unit is not for you. We had a nice stay. We chose the apartment only for its view and because we wanted to go to sea. Mr van Antwerpen is very accommodating and does not care if you contact him privately. Thank you Edensands. Our holiday was excellent.
The place has a stunning view but is very small, too many furniture for such a small flat for 3 people maximum, but otherwise it's very comfortable.
This unit could be so much better, the owner is delightful and to be fair he was open to contacting him. The flat is in an exceptional location from the beach but compared to other units that we saw the décor was not very good. The beds are unclean and the general upkeep is dated and cleaning was not very good. It is a shame because the unit could be very nice with a bit of TLC. There was a potential break-in into one of the other flats near us but security took care of it very well. 6 Edensands is a lovely place as a location but this is one of the more dated units.
Everything we needed was there. Number 6 is on the beach with an excellent sea view. Amanzimtoti's shops are close by and the beaches are normally clean if there is not a storm.
This little place is worth it and good value for money Stunning sea views.

Herewith some things we suggest: New braai Grids for the braaiers (maybe speak to the trustees). The fridge door does not seal all that well anymore. In the near future you can maybe have a look at investing in new mattresses.
Peaceful area, apartment has fantastic view and location. Swimming pool right below the steps. 2 large grocery stores nicely close by. If you like fishing, this is an excellent beach for fishing.
