6 Pack is a gorgeous self-catering independent unit, located on the owner's property, in the seaside village of Struisbaai on the south coast of the Western Cape. It has its own private entrance with a high latch on the gate which prevents small children from wandering off. It is ideal for a family or group of friends looking for a peaceful getaway in the southernmost town of Africa.
The main house unit contains 2 bedrooms, Grace and Meermin. Grace, the main bedroom has a queen-sized bed with an air-conditioner, and an en-suite bathroom. Meermin, the second bedroom is a large bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, a ceiling fan, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Towels are supplied.
There is an open-plan kitchen, breakfast nook, and a lounge area. The kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering and includes a microwave, a 4-plate stove with an oven, a fridge-freezer and a drinks fridge, kettle, toaster, snackwicher, braai equipment including braai grid, braai casserole, braai tongs, and kitchen utensils. The breakfast nook seats 6 and the lounge area has a 3- and 2-seater couch with a reclining chair. The lounge area is also equipped with a TV with full DStv and a DVD player. Limited Wi-Fi is also available.
The beautiful garden has shady areas to sit outside and enjoy the birds. It also has 2 braai areas that can be used depending on the way the wind is blowing. There is also a Webber for guest usage. The outside area has tables, chairs, and umbrellas.
The 2 separate rooms in the main residence, with their own entrances, are also available to be booked in conjunction with the free-standing unit for larger groups and families or separately. Our family had an amazing stay. Marcelle is friendly and a warm person. Their place is perfectly furnished. You really don't need to bring anything, they thought of everything. Will definitely stay with 6 Pack again.
The garden is very private and you can spend time outside. Braai areas good and you feel safe in that area.

The kids really enjoyed the house, layout and grass. The hosts are wonderful people and really made us feel welcome.
The unit was comfortable and spacious for 6 people. We enjoyed the spacious braai area. The hosts communicated well with us before we arrived, were very friendly and gave us useful tips about where to eat and getting around in Struisbaai. We would definitely stay there again.

I was impressed from the word go! You know what they say, "A picture tells a story". Well, we got more than a story when we arrived at 6 Pack. Marchelle and Pieter made us feel at home from the moment we arrived there. They went the extra mile to ensure that all our needs are fulfilled. I was on my way to buy wood and light for our braai, but even that was provided for. Wow! Just to show that every little detail was taken care of. My teenagers had a ball with the games provided and that made our stay event more fun. We will definitely visit 6 Pack again. Thank you Marchelle and Pieter for showcasing what hospitality is all about!

My girlfriend and I booked for one night as we've always wanted to visit Struisbaai and were blown away by the warm welcome, clean housing, and beautiful location given to us by the '6 Pack' hosts. I would highly recommend this house and its many rooms for a couples retreat or a family reunion. It's a short walk to the beach and is close enough to the Michael Collins pub as well.
