"Brilliantly well-kept holiday flat."

The flat is well-kept and well-situated in a brilliant complex. Has all the basics and is excellently suited to a couple looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay whilst enjoying all that St Lucia has to offer.

Unit 62 was perfect for our family of 3. Clean and tidy and cleaned regularly. The kitchen and unit are also equipped with a little bit of everything, which made things easier with a 3 year old. The garden is still with bird life as entertainment, and also offers a play area and the swimming pool was a bonus.

We had made arrangements with the host to arrive earlier, but the accommodation was not ready on arrival.

The unit was neat and clean, but unfortunately there is a urine smell in the bathroom, no matter if it is cleaned. The smell lingers there. The TV's remote control is out of order and then had to turn off the TV and plug it into the wall. The DSTV is also faulty, because as soon as you want to change from one channel to another, then the DSTV freezes and then the DSTV first reloads. So we were too scared to change the channel as the DSTV then keeps reloading. The braai area is very secluded and right next to the washing line. We have used other units at the complex many times and have always been very satisfied, but unfortunately the unit was not to our liking. Another concern was the complex gate that does not close. There is a guard at the gate, but in the past there was a guard at the gate as well as the gate that was opened and closed by remote control.

No 62 is small but right for us. Had to go and ask for clean towels. But it was easy to contact Odette with any queries.

It was in the best location, central to everything and it was safe. Our accommodation was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be booking through LekkeSlaap again, thank you.

The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed with an en-suite bathroom and one bed in the sitting room. If this arrangement can work for you the apartment is good value for money. The price was lower than other units. The catch is that the flat has a very small yard with a backdrop of large trees and slow traffic in the main street a bit off to one side. Flanking the front of the flat (and the tennis court) is the backside of a supermarket with some large air conditioner units and at times the fragrance from the bakery. The swimming pool and main gardens are at the other side of the complex, but only a one minute walk away. The advantage is that you are close to the tennis court, squash court and laundry. The flat was in good condition at our visit with all appliances in order and clean, except the sound on the TV was not working properly with some white noise. The furniture was clean and in good condition. There was a bit of mould in the bathroom ceiling and the extraction fan may or may not be working correctly. There is a shower with nice hot water, but no bath. The photos are true to real life. Although situated at the end of the block the flat seems safe surrounded by electrical fencing and frequented by security guards. For 2-3 people there is ample space, and you have a desk in the bedroom if you need to do a bit of computer work. The owner contacted us prior to the visit, which was reassuring. We received the wrong keys from security upon arrival, but this was resolved within 10-15 minutes after calling the number provided. We had booked 5 nights, but were happy to extend the stay with another night. Booking an extra night was quickly facilitated.

Unit needs some attention. Toilet leaks. Strange smell. Emergency lamp not in holder. We had to go buy candles. Sleepers were recommended for unity. Bar stool broken. Curtains off their track/hooks. Also pleasant. Routine maintenance definitely needed for unit.

There are so many things to do in the surrounding area, that we hardly spent time in the apartment. The time we did spend at the apartment was peaceful and lovely.

Was very pleasant and peaceful, nice and cosy little place for a family stay. Will definitely come again.

A lot has happened, I'm not a saint, but I'm sure there were other ways to deal with my situation than chasing us back late at night. But thanks, we'll find a way better place than The Bridge that we got on the last minute. If it was possible we were going to ask for our money back and book there.

The person looking after the unit was very friendly and helpful and addressed things brought to her attention immediately although there are a few things in the unit that need attention. The location where you can look in from the street behind was awkward. Other than that it was pleasant.

Defects carried over were not addressed. We understand that the unit has recently changed hands. A close inspection of a number of small, yet important, deficiencies should be carried out. However, the geographical location is a natural wonder!
