"Just right."

Perfect location and just what we were looking for in an overnight stay on our trip to Mozambique.

"The accommodation was very nice. Could see the sea all the time. The beach is walking distance."

Can't fault the stay. Everything was very nice. The kitchen needs scissors, casserole for braai, a bowl to bake a potato dish in and dishcloths. You have to pick up the key in Ballito. Where the service is poor. I cannot understand that you have to wait a week for the crockery damage of R1000. We were in on Tuesday and only on Friday did someone come to ask if they could clean. I said no, because we are going out on Sunday. Think they can come clean more. Wi-Fi is also a problem. People can feel free to invest in it. Data is incredibly expensive. And maybe a gas braai on the stoepie. It will help a lot, the braai is far from you. And the other problem is, at your accommodation it's always a problem to get in. The cleaner has the key, then you call the people at Balitto who don't answer. Or you wait until someone comes in or out of your accommodation. I just think they need to pay attention to a few things come December. How nice was no loadshedding. Thank you very much for that.

Very nice stay, everything we needed was there. Would only suggest that an air con be installed in the living room, the room gets very hot, especially in the mornings when the sun shines through the sliding door. An option for wifi would also have worked well, especially if there are children.

The unit was advertised with a washing machine, and I chose the unit because my little daughter played Hockey and we needed to wash her clothes. Otherwise we rented a 2 bedroom unit. There were only 2 towels, the bedding was old, and the mattress of the bed was very old and hollow. The advertisement is not accurate.

Kitchen nicely equipped with all necessary appliances, includes microwave and kettle, enough pots and pans for cooking. Drying cloth, scouring pad, and dish soap were provided. Enough for 3 days so take extra with you. Fridge big and well kept cold. Bathroom neat and clean, toilet paper was provided and there was hand soap and small shampoo. 5 hooks for towels. Take your own bath and swimming towels. There were 2 medium face towels. Bedding for sofa beds in TV room was provided. Sofas nice and clean, the cover on the sofa was washed silver clean and the cushions on the sofa also nice and clean. In the room was a double bed. And 2 bedside tables with 1 bedside lamp. Air conditioner and roof fan. Room closet has enough storage space, large mirror, bedding was clean and fresh. 2 small tables for packing things. Collapsible clothesline, broom and mop in cupboard. Apartment close to the pool, this apartment is in the complex across the road, the pool is in this complex. Easy walking distance to the beach, can hear the waves and see the ocean well. Garden around was maintained every day and grass cut every 2nd day. Friendly caretaker. Safety good. Towels, clothes, shoes and gazebo left on the porch at night and when we went to the sea during the day, and nothing was stolen. At night the night watchman walks up and down the complex, I saw him walking through the window a few times in the evening. Shared braai facilities. We used the gas grill on the porch in front of our apartment. Not sure if one is allowed to use the gas grill on the upper floors or even the ground floor. But no one made noise with us. Very cute place, will visit there again.

The accommodation needs some TLC, the crockery etc don't fit together, and the place didn't feel super clean to us, the hallway cupboard with the cleaning supplies is very creepy and next to the fridge there is a very long time of dust and hair that accumulated. The bedding needs replacing, it's really worn out, some of the straw cushions on the sofas' zippers are broken. The small table in the house's table plastic is torn and the table outside needs repair. It's still livable, but just something to watch out for. It would also have been much better if the key could be picked up and handed over to the caretaker, especially if you come with a trailer, the area where the key must be picked up is not suitable for a vehicle with a trailer, because there is not parking. We asked for towels in the morning, the person forgot her remote and we missed each other every time to get new towels. You don't sit at the accommodation and wait for someone to drop off towels at some point.

Very well located. Close to everything. There were a few things broken in the house. But overall very nice stay. Nice view of the sea. Will recommend. Just no braai facilities at the apartment. Must use common one.

It was worth it. The place is baby the sea, could see the sea. Very neat. We enjoyed it very much. Will come back anytime. Thank you very much.

Lovely living room, porch fairly well sheltered from the wind with unobstructed view. Enjoy a cup of coffee while you experience the sunrise and hear the waves breaking. Nice swimming pool where you don't know the wind is blowing. Cute coffee shop on the corner and a short walk to the sea.

I have previously booked through other establishments on the North Coast and had staff sent out daily to clean the unit. With the unit it has to be paid additionally. The bathroom had a terrible stinky smell, I had to buy extra cleaning products to make the smell more tolerable. It does not make sense to collect the key at the Balito Business Center side and then drive all the way back to Saltrock's side where the unit is.

The weather was a bit bad, but otherwise we will definitely come back to Chakas Cove again. The place is located very close to the beach.
