65 guests' feedbackWe were a group of 6 adults who rented 2 units and stayed there for 11 nights. On arrival 2 showers did not drain, some lights did not work as well as the one microwave. The owner did repair it the next day. The 2 bedroom house is very rustic. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. One bedroom is not suitable for adults - you have to climb over one bed to get to the other. There are no bedside tables or bedside lamps. The smaller unit has a nice bedroom, but an extremely small living area/kitchen. The braai area offers no shade and with the heat one cannot sit outside during the day. The neighborhood is a high crime area - twice we had things stolen that were left outside overnight in the braai area. There was also theft at the house next door. The owner warned us, but it's hard to remember to bring everything in every night. With great difficulty we got our 2 mid-sized SUVs under the roof. Too small. There were air conditioners, but we were not allowed to use them - temperatures were often in the 30s.
68 on Hofmeyr was in the perfect location for our holiday requirements. Close to shops, wine farms and walking distance to the sea. Friendly service during our stay. Very safe and nice braai area to have a good time after a day at the beach.
The hostess was very friendly, the little apartment was neatly furnished and we had a good time relaxing, watching a good movie and just generally being peaceful, the places were very animal friendly and my little dog thought it was his own home. And thank you for allowing our vehicle to be behind closed gates. The bed was nice and cozy, and the bedding was soft and made you feel like you could stay in bed all day. Thank you very much.
It's our second time checking in at 68 On Hofmeyr. We are treated like family and not visitors. The hostess is friendly and helpful and makes you feel very much at home. You are close to everything and the beach is walking distance from the house. It's very quiet and safe there, you can sleep with your door open, just the security gate closed. Would recommend anyone looking for tranquility to go to Marisa at 68 On Hofmeyr.

The accommodation was pleasant. Just what we wanted. Conveniently small and very quiet. Braai rig is private although it started to rain during our braai. Would like to meet owner.

Had a nice stay but unfortunately. The double bed did not sleep well. Was either too soft, or mattress not flipped. Had back pain every morning and then went to sleep on the single beds. The place is only for 4, not for 6, sofa bed in living room extremely uncomfortable even for a child. Parking very narrow and not for a low car. Steak knives short in kitchen, were not there as indicated on the list. Ceiling fan in 1 room makes terrible noise. Can't sleep without it either because of the heat. 1 toilet was loose and 1 was leaking. Cute place and value for money, but owners could pay attention to the little things.

68 On Hofmeyr st is so well located, close to the sea and shops, safe to walk in the evening. Marisa welcomed us, it didn't feel like we were in an apartment on someone's property, it was so private, and very clean. I can really recommend people to go and enjoy their vacation there.
My family who stayed at the house behind enjoyed it a lot, they went for a walk on the beach and did "window shopping" (because I had the wallet with me). Not even to mention the Wi-Fi, the two grandchildren were tied to their devices.
Marisa treated us to a warm welcome. Very private, not someone who bothers you all the time.

68 On Hofmeyer provides good and comfortable accommodation. Central if you want to visit neighbouring towns and winelands on day trips. The unit is very clean and practical and the host was lovely and friendly. The covered, lockable parking is a great plus. Just take note, you have to climb a few steps to get to the unit.

Timeless is really a very spacious place to stay, very modern and clean. Security is good and we were really warmly welcomed. Will use this again anytime. I can happily recommend Timeless.
The apartment is very clean and fully equipped. All negative points are the terribly limited DStv and the kitchen which does not have a back door. Just a security gate that goes into the owner's laundry room. It's quite bad when you want to eat and the cleaner stands watching you while she irons. But otherwise a very nice visit.
Friendly reception and place is really nice and spacious for a family of 4. Relatively private, good value for money, very neat and clean.
Place is very clean. It was nice to sleep in the bed and not be disgusted. Positive critique: get rid of the carpets. It is not very hygienic. Parking is very limited. (Door of the rental care is slightly damaged. But luckily we weren't penalised for it). Overall a very pleasant experience.
There were two units that were supplied for rent, while only one had parking. Except if both units' cars are very tiny and take up little space. Unfortunately our car got a nasty scratch in the paintwork because of this reason.
We had a good stay in the unit with 2 large bedrooms and an enormous and well equipped kitchen. The only thing that's lacking is a TV and there is also no WiFi. There is also no view, and the area is noisy with dogs barking and cars driving past quite fast late at night. I understand that the place is currently changing owners.
The apartment was very well furnished. Just very hot. There is not enough ventilation and therefore the apartment does not cool down.
Louis from Timeless is a very pleasant host who went out of his way to make everything comfortable for us. It is in a very peaceful environment, safe and tidy and very close to the beach.
Strand is a clean town with shops and shopping centers very close by. Even Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Paarl Bellville Brackenfell are about half an hour's drive - reachable.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Louis is a real gentleman and made us feel at home right from the start. It was like home away from home. Despite the numerous power outages that week, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A return there is definitely guaranteed. Thanks Louis! Thank you LekkeSlaap!
My sister and I were surprised by the homeliness we experienced from the first time we walked into Timeless. Everything was perfect. The spacious kitchen was a pleasure, because usually there is only a kitchen nook. We could literally just walk in and stay. Absolutely everything we needed was there. We were kindly received. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. If we ever go on holiday in the Western Cape again, Timeless will definitely be my first option for accommodation.

I stayed 2 nights with girlfriend and 4 children. Louis is a very good host and the place was spotless and very well furnished, very well located and close to the swimming beach. The lawn is a bit small if you have children with you. It is very safe for yourself as well as for your vehicle which is behind a gate.
