We had a nice stay. Large apartment.
The complex was quiet at all times. The lock-up garage was just too short for our GWM P-series double cab bakkie and we couldn't close the garage door.
Had a bad experience. sent email to owner to request if we could access the premise earlier as I had a virtual meeting scheduled received no response. we had troubling accessing the gate and had to continiously whatsapp her as she does not take calls. this was really time consuming and frustrating standing at a gate and waiting for someone to open and we have the tenants on the premise waiting behind us (impatient). the reason why we contacted her as the codes she has given us did not work and only after numerous efforts she provided us with a telephone number. Popia documents that was sent to us had a email address which we forwarded too. she claims that we should not have sent it to that email address yet not providing us with an alternative email. this resulted in her claiming that she did not receive correspondence from us as we emailed the documents and the request to access the premises to that email address. No apology from her and she informd us that she would bring us other Popia documents to sign we did not receive it at all. Kitchen utensils were also not clean and there was no shower gel in the bathroom. had we known this we would have brought our own and had to go and buy soap. the handwashing liquid in the bathroom must have been diluted as it was like water when you had to wash your hands.
Apartment was very neat and clean. Plus point was lock up garage. Walking distance from beach.

Splendid indeed, the safety was well good and the kids had fun in the pool.
We will use 69 Portobelo again and again as accommodation. It is safe, tidy and very pleasant.
