For future bookings, I will book this guesthouse.
Because there was load shedding we got hot as there was no air cooling. We only slept over one night and did not eat breakfast.
It was an awesome stopover on the way to Cape Town. Neat, clean and beautifully appointed.

The guesthouse was advertised as bed & breakfast, but in reality, no breakfast was served. It's extra to your booking. Either very clever or scam to score more out of unknowing guests. Coffee and tea provided in the room not enough for family of four. Swimming pool very small, not like the pictures on the web page. AC unit only in one room, kept on tripping until adjusted for minimal airflow. Please look at alternatives in the same area. Disappointed to say the least.
The welcoming on arrival was out of this world, Antonette such a friendly host, made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Loved our stay, the pool with our granddaughter and the braai just finished off the evening. Staff are all so friendly and so happy to help.
We had a friendly reception and stayed in luxury. The rooms are very neat and clean and the location very good. I can definitely recommend 7 Cities Guesthouse.

Lovely accommodation - big rooms and bathrooms, very helpful hostess, difficult to find via Google Maps (use GPS co-ordinates rather than street name) - otherwise great!
We had a very nice stay. The bedrooms have everything one needs. Johan was very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again if we are in Cradock. Thank you very much.
The bathrooms are a little bit on the small side but we very much appreciated the cleanliness of the guest house.

We had a lovely stay here and loved the themes in every room. The rooms are a bit small though and crowded but luxurious. The hostess did her best to give us extra information of Cradock and the area. A visit to Mountain Zebra Nature Reserve is a must. Will visit here again.
Was a real pity that the neighbours decided to have a party and played music for 7 hours, from 15:00 to 22:00 pm. Other than that the stay was great and the hosts were wonderful.

Unfortunately for us, they were busy with renovations that are part of normal life. However, it continued until late and we would have chosen other accommodation if we had known about it.
The guest house was well located and we had a friendly reception. We stayed in the wheelchair friendly room as my husband is a paraplegic. All the rooms and the main house were easily accessible. He unfortunately struggled in the bathroom and cramped room. The toilet was too high for him, the sink too low, and he almost fell off the shower's small and tall stool. But we could overcome all this. The biggest problem was our room which was not cleaned after our first night's stay. I left the bed unmade. When we returned after a day in the park, the bed was still unmade, and the bathroom not cleaned. The dirt was not thrown out. (This despite the notice in the room clearly stating that your room will be cleaned every day). We have lived in MANY guesthouses. This is the first time this has happened to us. We didn't see the owner again after that, and didn't discuss it with her. So we don't know what the reason was. The guesthouse is not a bad place to stay. The service we received was just unacceptable.
We were received by a young man who did not make a terribly good impression. After that we didn't see any other staff again. The Jacuzzi was then with a sail and without water. 2 days later we were called by the owner and blatantly accused us of cutting a hair dryer by the cable and taking it with us which was not true at all. The room is spacious and comfortable - fridges are not put on ahead of time, so if you stay one night it is a problem. The bathrooms are uncomfortably small.
