Only slept there for 2 nights, but it was very pleasant and quiet. The bedside lamps did not work and the shower faucet was very difficult to use.

It is a very central place to stay in the Lowveld. Unfortunately, access to the rooms is via a very steep staircase and therefore not suitable for older people. If your luggage includes a large suitcase, it's just a hassle. However, the rooms are very comfortable and the view is beautiful. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in our room did not work, and we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, there is also no fridge in the rooms themselves, just a small communal fridge in the lobby.
I stay in B&B’s all over Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga Provinces on business on a weekly basis and have done so for the last 12 years. 7 Saint Andrew’s rooms rate as one of the best I have stayed in if not the best. I will return for business and when the opportunity arises for leisure as well.

Friendly staff who is always willing to help, rooms are spacious and very neat. What you see is exactly what you get, there is no false marketing.
The owner sent a video of how to access the premises and where to go to the apartment. On the ad it is advertised as a stand alone unit, which it was not. There is a "communal" area where you enter and then the rooms are spread out from that area. Furthermore, unit 3 where we slept is very neat, modern and clean. But there is no view from the unit.

All information about our accommodation was well communicated. We were constantly informed before our arrival of how to proceed to reach our accommodation. I had an extraordinary request and Sandy accommodated it and didn't even charge me which was a special surprise. We felt very safe and really enjoyed our time. If I'm in White River again I will definitely use 7 Saint Andrews again.

It was wonderful to arrive after a long day of driving, and hard work throughout the day at a clean, tidy and very peaceful overnight destination and you immediately feel at home. Thank you very much for the wonderful place in White River, and what a celebration to be back in your home town after so many years.
Good night's sleep, nice to have a bath and a shower, everything we needed was on hand.
Photos posted about the guest house was not all what we had expected. The room was beautiful as the photos, bit we were greeted with a WhatsApp. We had to ask the cleaning ladies what the setup is. Also did not realize that the photos of the beautiful pool were the private residence of the owner and we were not allowed to swim there. Also there was no clear marked braai area, so we felt very uncomfortable making meals there. This is ideal for someone who is just looking for a place to sleep. Who does not want to talk to anyone. We ended up having to braai at the communal pool which was poorly maintained and dirty. And use the braai area there to cook our food.
We enjoyed our stay at 7 Saint Andrews, it was clean, bathroom on point. Actually everything was just excellent, Sandy and Michelle are very friendly, we even had to extend our stay for longer than we had initially planned for. It is strongly recommended.
Perfect place just need to get new pillows as the pillows we slept on was very flat and no body. But in general you sleep warm and very friendly atmosphere.

Firstly, our room was very nice and clean to stay in, thank you for that. I must say the collecting of the keys is a nice arrangement. However, there was no cleaning of our room for the whole weekend – that was not nice. Honestly, the whole weekend was an unpleasant stay with the guesthouse, for the following reasons: I had to phone for the key. I was not told that I was booked into another room. I was told we can go for fingerprints to make our stay more pleasant – then, at security, there was no paper work for guests of the guesthouse – so, no fingerprints for us. Then I had to phone and ask, more than once, for the access codes. So when we were on our way to the start of the marathon race Saturday morning at 02:00 am, we realised we forgot something in our room. We had to go back, but still had no access code. I had to beg the security for quite a while to let me in. Once I was inside the estate, I could not get out again – due to no access codes. Due to all this red tape, we missed the marathon that was supposed to be our qualifier for the 2020 Comrades. We spent a lot of money on this weekend, to qualify, but did not even get the opportunity to start the race, because of the access problems at the guesthouse. I think the cost of this weekend must be for your account due to the poor service and experience we had.
