Munro and Antoinette were very friendly and welcoming. They took the extra step to suggest activities that would suit us, we have a Jimny and they pointed out a great 4x4 trail leading up to a lookout point. Munro has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding heritage and history. They also informed us of restaurant specials. The accommodation was two rooms, a shared bathroom, attached to their house and separated by a door. This was however private and we did not feel like we were imposing on their home. Very clean and included luxuries such as warming lights in the bathroom, good Wi-Fi, DStv and a fireplace. We particularly appreciated the safety and serenity inside Oaklane Estate. Furthermore, the dam offered a lovely picnic and fishing spot. If you plan on cooking, there is a large gas braai, microwave and a fridge.
I would recommend the guest house to anyone. Beautifully furnished and so neat and clean! Also the perfect location to appreciate the tranquility of Dullstroom. Very nice hosts!
