We are more than impressed with the whole setup at 72 Canal Road. It has the perfect location, is so nice and peaceful and beautiful. The owner is very helpful and friendly, as is the person who welcomed us. Everything you are looking for is present here. More than enough safe parking - and it's so child-friendly outside. We really enjoyed the weekend and will definitely go again.
The house has all that you need to enjoy a restful time away. We most enjoyed the bar area and pool which overlook the canals.
We had a fabulous time at this lovely location with our friends. Very sheltered from both the westerly and easterly winds, and the heated swimming pool was an added bonus. The house was very comfortable, and the host was really helpful and welcoming.

From entering the premises my kids immediately felt comfortable, from watching a movie to having some fun in the water to having a braai indoors, beautiful home - words can't describe.
The pool wasn't too deep, my son felt comfortable enough to swim by himself. Swimming in the lake and rowing on the lake such a wonderful experience.
The pool, kayaks and canoes made it very enjoyable for the children.
