Our stay at 83 Dassen Island was wonderful. The hosts, Neil and Ria, were most friendly, efficient and helpful. They went above and beyond in making sure that we had all the necessary information in advance of our arrival and then continued to ensure that everything was in order throughout our stay. The accommodation unit was neat, clean, well kept and comfortable (lovely beds!). The unit really is fully equipped. The sea view (and Dassen Island) from the front patio is great, along with the continuous soothing sound of the ocean waves. Thank you once again Neil and Ria for your hospitality and friendliness. It felt like a home away from home. We will certainly return again and we have no hesitation in recommending 83 Dassen Island to others.

Uncle Neil and aunt Ria are very pleasant people who go out of their way for their guests. We were able to chat and they were able to tell us a lot about the area. The accommodation is a great place that contains absolutely everything one needs for a holiday. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful views over Dassen island and the surrounding area. It was a lovely stay in the neatest lock up and go flatlet. Everything one could need when away from home was available. It was also so nice to fall asleep to the crashing waves.
We had a great time in this painfully neat, well-equipped apartment. It is very private, has a view of the sea and has a lovely barbecue area where we sat around the fire until late. The owners are very friendly and quickly made us feel at home. We will definitely visit there again!

Just a suggestion for the future maybe a loose pan braai for the front porch (to enjoy a nice view while braaiing) and maybe raise the bricks of the back braai a little higher to prevent wood ash from blowing around. It was our little house by the sea for 13 days. The view, cleanliness and tranquility of 83 Dassen is good for the soul and I will definitely go again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 83 Dassen Island. We were able to relax wonderfully with beautiful views and the roar of the waves. Ria is an excellent hostess. The place of residence is very well equipped and we especially enjoyed the nicely secluded backyard. Our only recommendation would be that consideration be given to a modern larger microwave oven with a turntable.
Will definitely stay there again. Ria Prins excellent hostess and apartment feels very private. West coast tranquility at its finest.

Look, if you are looking for 5 star accommodation, this is the place! Extremely clean, tidy, fully equipped, beautiful sea view, tastefully furnished and I could go on. When we walked in there we knew 3 nights was too little. Everything works, it's private and Ria spoke to us daily when passing by to hear if everything was alright. Oh yes, did I mention Dasseneiland right in front of you and the whales blowing and tails slapping on the water?

We were 4 adults and all fit and nobody stepped on each other's toes.
We had a lovely weekend at 83 Dassen Island. The view is breathtaking, the units are beautiful, neat and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was even salt and pepper, coffee, tea, sugar and even a mug of milk in the fridge. The hostess was warm and friendly and the guest house is very well located. We look forward to visiting 83 Dassen Island again!
