It is a beautiful place that is so nicely decorated! It is close to the restaurant as well as close enough to the river for a sundowner! Highly recommended!

The cottage is very nice and comfortably equipped with everything you might need and the swimming pool was an absolute winner. The pool's water was crystal clear which made it a pleasure to swim. The owners' service was excellent and we would definitely recommend the cottage and the tranquility. The animals that visited every day were also an absolute bonus. 896 Hedgehog exceeded all my and my fiancé's expectations from Germany. Location is in a quiet part, away from the busy parts in Marlothpark. All we lacked was a little warmer weather to be able to swim. The pool and house were spotless and have everything you need to experience a 5-star time in the bush. The warthogs, kudus, zebras, impalas, ibex, gray grebes and even an iron pike visited us regularly. Kruger Crocodile Bridge Gate is only 20 minutes away and makes 896 Hedgehog the place to stay if you can't find a place in the Wildlife Park. Thank you very much Andries and Amelia for your excellent service and facilities. We will definitely visit again.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was perfect. There was enough wildlife to keep us busy. It was really a getaway away from the city noise.
The lounge area is a winner! And the large table under the porch makes every meal a celebration. There are many sliding doors that ensure you experience the forest even inside. No neighbors in sight and at night one is enveloped by the starry sky. The kitchen is well equipped with even a dishwasher. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. There were also many animals. Communication with the owner was very good throughout. Thank you Amelia for the bottle of wine and birthday card. Thank you also for the extra effort you made so that we could only leave at ten instead of nine. We had a great time.
896 Hedgehog is a very nice place and one feels at home, there are many animals to see and a nice swimming pool too. Will use and recommend the place again.

The place is nice, however the area was too full, with a lot of security instructions and punishments if you didn't remember them which made you feel even more unsafe.

We have been blessed with many wild animals visiting our front porch! The house is very practically built and nicely furnished. We will visit again! The stay exceeded our expectations! Every day we were greeted by wild animals that came to hang out on the front porch, what an experience. We were 3 people and the house was spacious enough, spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished. Although there was no TV or internet, this didn't bother us much as we ventured into the activities in Marloth Park (quad bikes and safari drives) and further frolicked in the lovely pool and sat around the boma fire and admire the wildlife, who needs a TV when you can sit and watch the wildlife! Our hostess was always just a call or message away and we were given clear instructions on how to get there, the rules and how everything worked was adequately communicated. The whole experience was fantastic and we would recommend this accommodation to anyone who loves nature and woodland! We will visit there again soon!
