Cute place, walking distance to beach. Loadshedding did not affect us.
The stay was very nice and will definitely go again. Solar availability was a bonus.
The place was neat and clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Was easy to find. The only thing that was not nice was the noise from upstairs. On the Saturday evening it started sounding like someone was stomping their feet so hard when they were walking almost as if on purpose. We even decided to stop watching TV because we thought maybe the TV was bothering them and this was after 10 pm which I think isn't late to watch a movie if you are on holiday. On Saturday morning at 7 am we were woken up by noise from upstairs and Sunday morning even earlier at 6:30 am. So if you looking for a place where it is possible to sleep a bit later than usual then I don't think this place is for you.
There were bedbugs in one of the bunk beds. It was reported to the owner. There needs to be some cupboard space in the second bedroom or at least hooks on the walls all over.
We needed batteries charged and the landlord assisted us. We wanted to make a pasta and the landlord helped us with a bigger pot. The power remained on during the load shedding was a plus for us. We were even given briquets for braaiing. Amazing folk. I would definitely go back to see them and to stay if I had a chance again.
Definitely very good stay and value for money. The nice extras of WiFi and Full DStv were definitely a big plus. Thank you very much Saskia for your helpfulness and friendly service. Definitely see again.
Had to drive a bit to the beach but didn't mind. Thank you Saskia, I appreciate all your efforts so much. Just missed the following: Shelf to hang towels and clothes. Small plates. Canopy in front of door.
Will definitely go again and next time I will take the kids. Nice places to eat around that are within walking distance.
Out with everyone's control, the weather wasn't conducive to spending hours on beach, thankfully we were able to go exploring and thoroughly enjoyed discovering new places/experiences. The flatlet, was a bit too small for our family though - four beds yes but seating and serving dinner was an issue. The place seems quite new or, if not, very well kept but it lacked so many little things that would make it more user friendly e. g. salt and pepper, a bread knife, extra clothes to wipe down surfaces/dry dishes, those little touches.
Very comfortable and well located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is modern and well decorated. The hosts made us feel very welcome.
Was one for the books. We had a lovely stay, well presented, well located just a over-all blast. I would recommend this to any couple that just want to break away from the hustle and bustle and just switch off.
The perfect spot for a family of 4 for a few nights in Cape St Francis. Great modern & clean space! Kids enjoyed having wi-fi. Lovely host.
Hostess was very hospitable.
