Very nice stay. Beds were a bit hard and also the chairs when you watch TV. But the rest was very nice. In the morning we could not shower because the water was cold. If we can pay attention to it. But very quiet and safe. I recommend it.
Very neat, beautiful and safe. I often have to come down to see doctors, so the guest house is located close to all the doctors and hospital as well as shopping centers, which makes it so much easier.
What a wonderful place to stay! Everything inside and outside the unit where we went home made us feel special. Thank you very much, for all your fine detail with everything! The area is quiet, even though it is conveniently close to everything.

We booked Ice Berg and Fig Tree for 4 nights. We had a very nice stay. Quiet, safe and cozy. The only problems we had is the shower in Fig Tree. The tiles are terribly slippery and really dangerous to stand on while showering. We went to buy rubber mats to use in the shower. The knives in Fig Tree are completely blunt. You can't even cut tomatoes. The staff are not friendly at all, they certainly do not enjoy their work.
Truly a joy to arrive at clean, tidy and safe accommodation after a long journey. 9 on Juanita is our first choice for accommodation in Nelspruit.
Absolutely loved the accommodation at 9 Juanita. We rented the Olive suite. My only suggestion would be that an extension cable is made available in the room as there are no plug points near a mirror.
Had a wonderful stay. The place has everything you need. I would only recommend putting a bath mat in the bathroom as the tiles are very slippery when wet. Everything else 100%, thank you very much.

The guest house was clean and tidy. We especially appreciated the microwave and small fridge. The owner kept me informed via WhatsApp. The room was wonderfully cool in very hot weather with a cooling system. I'll just ask for a shower room next time, but the bath was lovely and definitely relaxing.

Lovely, quiet, clean and tidy accommodation. We travel a lot around the country and this is definitely one of the quietest guesthouses we have visited. There was no noise whatsoever. The room is beautifully decorated and everything one could need is in there. We would definitely recommend to anyone.

Yes, was a bit disappointed that there was no shower in the bathroom, no place to wash your dishes. But otherwise we had a very nice stay.
Nice quiet place to stay. Beds are fantastic. Everything one needs is there. However, the bath towels are too small. Feel free to consider bath sheets. However, we were taken in by a taxi that parks on site. Asking 400 rand for a 7 kilometer round trip for 2 people. It's daylight robbery.

Our stay at the guest house 9 on Juanita in Nelspruit over the Easter weekend was comfortable. The place is nice clean and well equipped. We will stay at the guesthouse again when we go to Nelspruit.

Everything was communicated in advance. We knew exactly how everything worked. The location is also close enough to the shops but not too close and it was very safe.

All information was received quickly and was very clear with easy directions. We stayed in 9 on Juanita and the rooms were so spacious and clean and tidy. The room is beautifully decorated, and you have everything you need and lived comfortably. We will definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay at 9 on Juanita over the weekend, the cottage was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the AC and Netflix. Appreciate it if we could check in a bit earlier to get the kids to their destination on time. I would suggest adding some vinyl stickers to the glass shower screen so it is more visible, that would be helpful!

We made a brief overnight stay en route to the Kruger Park. The hosts were accommodating of our request for a slightly later checkout which allowed us to participate in the local parkrun too.

From the first meeting right after my booking via WhatsApp, it was the most pleasant experience for me. I was immediately informed of everything, the process, contactless check-in, what is available, what is not. It was effortless and bittersweet. Plus it is the most beautiful place equipped with everything you need for an overnight stay. When I walked in it smelled so nice and fresh and looked so nice, clean and tidy, it felt like I wanted to stay there forever. With load shedding there were no interruptions as there was a system in place for this. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much!

The place is terribly beautiful and neat. It's safely located. It's a very spacious place with everything you need and more. Our hostess was fantastic and communicated with me the entire time. Within 10 minutes of my booking I received a WhatsApp with all the necessary information. I was also informed of the loadshedding schedule - which was very handy, so we could plan to be there before loadshedding and then not arrive there in the dark. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have said no unless the friend is not worried For some this may be a good option but for me I found is so strange not being checked in. The rooms are at close quarters so privacy is not great. There is no folder with info so nothing about the area, about the unit & checkout plus possible restaurants. A QR code for this would work making the place more friendly. WiFi was not working and I became worried about calling as they seemed not to answer timeously and Whatsapp message were not answered within good time. We were unable to bath as the plug was missing and had not been checked or replace. Just a trip to the plumbing shop would have fixed it. The owner did know about this. She did offer the shower in another room but didn't offer to move us which is what I would have done. The TV has lots of wifi options No DSTV; but there is some are buffering all the time but AppleTV worked the best. But no News or sport for my husband. The bed is a standar queen not the hotel size queen & was a bit small for my very tall husband. He decide that it would be uncomfortable after his surgery; so we left to go home. The other room look lovely but I do prefer to see a human and need my privacy. They are only 1km from the Mediclinic but if you have problems with steps and there are no ramps it could be a problem. Just needs tweeking and an it would be great!

We advised owner that the toilet cistern kept on running, the bath plug did not work properly and that there was no bath soap. Was advised that it would be taken care of. Did not happen! Bath is too deep for old people, there is no soap holder at the bath, whilst this is advertised as self catering and there is crockery and cutlery there is no viable surface to prepare or to eat a meal. There is also only one chair to sit on in the unit. Water in the bath runs away very, very slowly.

The guest house is nicely furnished and makes you feel welcome (homely). Most shopping centres, hospitals and attractions are within a small radius of the guest house. Very fair price to pay and definitely value for money. The customer service is amazing!

We had an incredibly nice stay. Als was clean and tidy. On arrival we experienced a small problem with the WiFi and the owner sorted it out for us immediately from Pretoria. The bunnies in the garden running around there had been a great treat for the children. It is also located very close to the mall. Only small problem we experienced was that the room for 4 did not have enough spoons and one of the other rooms did not have porridge bowls. But it just sorted us out among ourselves.
There were no extra blankets. Mbombela was cold.

The guest house parking was a bit of an issue as I drive an SUV and could not get into the allocated spot, hence I parked elsewhere. But the unit and garden and pool are all pretty and well kept. Love the fact that it has you tube and Netflix. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay, the only problem was privacy. The cleaning lady every morning between 7:30 and 8am was outside our door sweeping the steps and kept asking when are going out. The gardener was there one day and kept staring at us. The fact that there were no curtains on the front door, we felt exposed the workers. The guests staying on the left of us, were walking our front door to get to their place. So, hence we felt we had no privacy.
We booked in a group and the larger group had a great time together with the braai place and hanging out area which makes it special for a group and yet if there are couples who want to enjoy privacy, they could bathe and sleep in their own room. It makes it convenient, will definitely visit again with my kids and friends in a group at 9 on Juanita. Thank you.

I'm not sure if the place has changed hands, but there were only foreigners, who can't even speak English properly. Getting to our unit was also a bit of a story because not even the cleaners know how to explain to you which gate you should use out of the three or where the unit is. My husband forgot his towel at home, they only had a small face towel there.

We rented the house with a family gathering. With a primary school child and two pinky feet we could easily accommodate and keep everyone happy. A wonderful place to relax and visit with special interior decoration that makes you feel comfortable away from your own home. Would highly recommend for couples or families. Very good location, close to shops and a comfortable retreat for those wanting to explore the Lowveld.
I give 100% for 9 on Juanita and Nelspruit. It was very peaceful.

What would otherwise probably be a very positive experience was soured by no communication or reception from the owner. We arrived at the premises after dark and there was no one to let us in. Luckily for us, the guests who had already checked in were on their way out and they opened the outside gate for us so we could enter the premises. We received no instructions prior to our arrival for a gate code or where to get our unit key. The website's consultant was able to help us with the owner's contact number and after I contacted him, he forwarded the information to my phone. I don't believe I will stay there again in the future.
Sonja is an absolute angel. She made us feel so welcome from the start. She is in contact all the time and is there to answer and help all questions immediately. The place was beautiful, clean, tidy and everything was just perfect. The garden and its trees have a special charm and we enjoyed sitting under the trees in the cool! Drinking coffee there in the mornings and listening to the feelings was perfect. Would recommend anytime! It is also conveniently close to als, had a great swim and slept peacefully in the evenings! The TV with Netflix etc. was really a bonus for my child!

We only spent one night at 9 on Juanita but enjoyed it very much. The rooms are very nice and the bathtub in Iceberg is FANTASTIC. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there and will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
A small fridge, glasses and milk packets for next morning's coffee were missing. How about rooibos tea? Not all are overseas guests.

My son and I had such a great time staying here for 2 days. The environment is very quiet and safe. Nice and tidy place to stay with an adequate kitchen, which has everything you need to cook yourself. A large living room to relax and just sit and socialize. Very comfortable beds with a neat bathroom that has a nice big shower in it. Secure covered parking with a gate remote to come and go as you please. Lorraine gave us a warm welcome and is very nice and helpful. Thank you very much for the fun, we will do it again.

It was just what we needed for the weekend. I would have liked a bit more light by the cupboard, a plug by a mirror when drying your hair and a shelf for your things in the shower and bathroom. Otherwise it is beautifully decorated and Lorraine is very helpful.
We really enjoyed staying at the cottage and will definitely make use of it again. The décor is lovely. It would be nice to have a double bed, hand towel and spare toilet roll.

The "plunger" coffee alone was not very welcome. Other coffee of choice would be appreciated. The "plunger" does not have a handle and burns your hand when you pour in coffee. Please place on the website that there is no room service. I'm used to any guest house we've been to that my bed will be made when I return tonight, toilet and bath washed. I read about a full tin of rusks every day on another review, we had rusks on Saturday morning and then nothing. Left again Sunday morning.
A beautiful house that is well-equipped. Our host, Lorraine, made us feel right at home. The real coffee and rusks was a treat after a long journey. We will definitely recommend the accommodation.
