Neat and clean house with everything you need. Very good communication with the owner. Lovely place to hang out around the fire pit and on the stoep. One sees a lot of animals. Air conditioning works well and the mattresses are comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay, for sure one of the best visits yet in Marloth Park. Quiet and peaceful with all the animals that came around regularly, we almost didn't need to drive to Kruger Park. It was a perfect stay for our family. Everything one needs is there. Beautifully furnished and everything of top quality.

Relaxing and peaceful.
My partner and I felt like we were in the woods with luxury from arrival to departure. The house is perfectly furnished inside with everything needed and more, dishwasher as well as washing machine, extra towels and everything needed in a bathroom. The outside dining room/built-in braai area was exceptional with enough light, as well as light around the house, beautiful decor that brightens the forest and then of course probably the cleanest blue swimming pool in Marloth Park. To make it even better, the outside area was laid out with a second boma/braai area where guests can stand by an open fire, as well as basically braai next to the animals' feeding area, it's special. Thank you to Sias for the best service and kindness, thank you for allowing us to use your jewel in the woods for our week, our little house in the woods, see you again soon.
My dad and I stayed at 951 Geelvis and absolutely loved our time there. It was a very short drive off the main road, so we didn't have the traffic or noise from the main road disturbing us. The neighbours are close enough to have the comfort of knowing people are nearby, but far away enough that you don't hear or see them. The house is furnished beautifully and with lovely attention to detail. The kitchen is fully stocked with absolutely everything you could need and even had a dishwasher and washing machine. The beds are super comfy (some of the pillows were a little hard) and the views from both bedrooms are very nice. There are 2 braai areas which we really liked, one by the fire pit and another by the pool. This was perfect as I was worried about my dad (who is a bit older) going up/down stairs all the time. We spent every evening on the patio by the braai listening to the lions call and watching a great number of animals stroll by looking for food pellets which we were all too happy to provide. We had warthog, loads of kudu, impala, duiker and wildebeest come visit. Loadshedding was 3 times a day during our stay at Marloth Park, but the inverter and gas stove made our lives much easier. The host was incredibly helpful and polite. We felt very much at home here and would absolutely come back.

It was a wonderful weekend. The house is tastefully furnished and has everything you need for an unforgettable visit. There were many animals that came to visit. Sias was always available to help. This is definitely not our last visit. This is a 5 out of 5 house!

The house is very inviting , it's a perfect place for reconnecting and regrouping, the fact that there is no TV or WIFI in the house serves the main purpose of the house, bonding with your people without interruptions. There are animals at your footstool and the pool is super clean, everything you might need is in the house including ice processor machines.

Really a cosy, super neat and comfortable place to stay in the forest. We really enjoyed the silence of the forest, and were of course rewarded with all the animals, night monkeys, zebras, giraffes, warthogs and kudus that come for a visit every day. There are 2 choices of braai facilities, one on the stoep and another a little further from the stoep. The ice machine is a winner. Nice to stay in such a neat place. The friendly host Sias, keeps in touch to ensure everything is in order. Will recommend the places over and over again.

First thing you see is the swimming pool (not a splash pool) then a lovely area for braai. This place has it all! One of the few places where you can barbecue and hang out while it's raining.
It was very nice to stay there, all the necessities are available and the ice machine was a winner. Swimming pool was great and enjoyed it. It was really worth it and will go there again.

Loved the wildlife eating out of your hand. The place has everything, you just bring your clothes and food and drink. A bonus is that there is a large ice maker in the house. You won't be able to just finish it.

Place is very nice with all the machines to make life easier. Ice machine is a champ. Kudus, ostriches, warthogs, ibex came to eat every day. Buy pills that they can eat. Sorry it was too cold to use pool, but definitely a bonus for the summer months. Owners very friendly and helpful.

Very nice stay! All that disturbed the peace a little was the tree that was rubbing and banging against the roof - the tree's branches might just need to be cut there. Also very tasty! The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Would stay there again any day!

Beautiful place in the heart of the forest. We were warmly received upon our arrival at 951 Geelvis, Marloth. The owner was also very friendly on the phone. We had a great time at 951 Geelvis. The accommodation was beautiful and modern. Love the door that slides open between kitchen and lounge area by pool and barbecue. We also got a visit from the animals, and that's always a big treat. We would definitely recommend 951 Yellowfish.
We were there for 2 nights, and we can really recommend 951 Geelvis, the service was great, the aunt and uncle who received us are people from the heart. The owner also spared no effort. Very good value for money. The cottage has everything you need and more. Will definitely stay there again.
The big plus for parents with young children is the layout of the place. You see the pool no matter where you are. You can cook delicious food, barbecue or just relax on the stoep while the young team frolics. It's clean, tidy, modern and they kept the forest as wild, but safe as possible. Definitely worth it!

951 Geelvis is a very beautiful and peaceful place, the Uncle and Aunt who look after the place are also very professional and helpful, would highly recommend for no more than 4 people.
The location was beautifully secluded, and the home itself was decorated in a stunning South African luxury style! We also loved the large amount of amenities that were made available to us.

We were there for a weekend in the summer. The open kitchen and braai area was great. We had a good time in the pool and zebras, warthogs and various goats also came to say hello. The air conditioning in the rooms ensured that we slept well and the ice machine kept our drinks cold. The house has everything you need for a good time.

It is a beautiful place with everything you need, very affordable and very nicely furnished with a lot of detail. The animals that come to visit people (especially goats and warthogs) are just too wonderful, so many goats, zebras, warthogs, blue wildebeest and giraffes seen. I won't just stay at another place if we go again. And we will go again for sure. We drove around Marloth Park a lot and were lucky enough to see herds of elephants and many hippos along the line between Marloth and the Kruger National Park. Our holiday started with great communication from the owner with directions, weather reports and well wishes for our weekend. The custodians of the keys were a lovely friendly couple. The house is very secluded surrounded by bush. Lovely clean and stylish house with every item you could possibly require for your stay. Pool is sparkling blue. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away and plan to return with the kids for a longer stay soon.
