We have six rooms inside the house, each with a small self-catering unit, and 2 fully equipped self-catering flats. Five of the rooms are upstairs and then we have the wheelchair-friendly room downstairs, with a spacious bathroom.
All rooms have DStv, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, iron board and iron. Executive, Luxury and wheelchair-friendly rooms are equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, cutlery and crockery - for self-catering purposes. One family unit opens onto heated swimming pool and the other family unit has it's own courtyard with Weber braai.
We are linked to a Health Centre, where you can go to a Physiotherapist, Biokineticist, Psychologist or Dietician. We have Hydrotherapy classes, which you can join.

Traffic was noisy, since the unit was on the main road side.
The service was fantastic. It helped so much to have a laundry service with my son who plays rugby and his things that needed to be washed daily. Their service is excellent and the facilities clean and tidy. They are willing to help where they can and go out of their way to make everything comfortable.
We did enjoy the stay.
Location was perfect for the eye clinic. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our meals. Great value for money.

We where in Port Elizabeth for a sporting event. Everything at the guest house was neat and clean. We were too busy to use the gym or pool, but with a longer stay we would definitely use the facilities.

Unfortunately, the room I booked was not available upon my arrival. The receptionist was slightly confused and asked me what I had booked. I was nevertheless checked in, but in a room without a bath, whereas I had booked one with a bath. There was also no communication from her around breakfast. I happened to read it in the information book in the room.
When I arrived there was no one to receive me. At least it was a Sunday evening 8.30pm. They also forgot my invoice for the breakfast when I checked out and I then had to pay it separately later.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was tasty and generous - an overall satisfactory experience. The only constructive criticism I have is that the DStv channel options are very limited. I wouldn't think that it would be a huge expense for the guest house to provide the full bouquet of channels

The place is beautiful.
Upon arrival we were kindly received. There were already people in the family unit we booked. We were placed in a large room which was very neat, but with a teenage son it was a problem. The guest house did everything they could to put us in other rooms, but after a long drive we didn't feel like moving again. We were just unhappy to be in a room we didn't pay for.
We lived in unit 9 and it was very neat and modern. Great unit but other units occupants making it difficult to sleep with their late partying.
Our room was not ready when we got there, but it's understandable, it was probably busy, but we wanted to relax before going out so we had to change our plans, but otherwise, the place is wonderful, the staff exceptional.
All went well until we discovered 3 large cockroaches in the room. We complained, but no feedback was received. Also had an alarm go off in the hotel for a few hours. Some double plugs were blocked off.

We had a great stay at A&A Guesthouse. The ladies in the kitchen were very nice and welcoming. As for the lady we met on arrival, she was not friendly and not welcoming either, can you please take her to training as she is working with people. She did not want to listen when I told her my 26 year old brother cannot share the room with my 36 year old sister. She insisted my brother will sleep on a sleeper couch. My booking was for 4 rooms in total but the A&A lady insisted that she was given 3 rooms. She later got the fourth room but I did not like how she did not want to listen.
