We offer exclusive accommodation for businessmen and tourists looking for luxury accommodation set in quiet surroundings overlooking the city with a beautiful garden.
There are solar panels and water tanks to lighten the effects of load shedding or water issues.
Each en-suite room is equipped with Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a double bed, a TV with an Open View package, a bar fridge, and coffee and tea-making facilities.
Each room has its own entrance which walks out onto our beautiful garden. In winter, an electric blanket are provided to guests while the pool will bring relief to the hot Bloemfontein sun during summer.
Guests are required to bring their own swimming towels, they are not supplied by the guesthouse. Bathroom towels are not to be used at the pool. Guests are also welcome to make use of a braai which is on the premises. Safe covered parking is available for your vehicle.

Lovely guest house with the friendliest owners! Thank you very much for your hospitality, we will definitely sleep there again on our next road trip.
Perfect place to stay overnight. No issues whatsoever. Owners were brilliant and welcoming.
We had a great stay. Brenda was awesome, helping us with washing our towels as we were at a 4-day gala. She ensured we had a change of linen and the rooms were impeccable and clean. Happy to help with where to go for shopping and eating out. The fridges are a little small if you are self-catering, but we made it work for us. Brenda set up an area for us to eat, and this was a lifesaver considering we had children. The children loved the swimming pool, which was so appreciated on the hot days and during our breaks away from the gala. We are heading back next weekend for our next sporting event.

The owner didnt charge us a late arrival fee, we checked in very late. They were very welcoming, I would recommend my friends and family to use them.
It is suitable for overnight stays, but not at all for socialising. The room was a "granny flat" directly next to the main house and could have been part of it earlier. When I booked, it appeared as if my children would be in a second room, but their bunk bed was in the room with us. Honeymooners will not like the atmosphere.
We were very happy with our stay and the hostess was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone.
Castle View is easily accessible in a beautiful setting. Hanging out around the swimming pool in the garden and at the braai makes it an ideal hanging out place even for large groups! The units are luxurious and everything works comfortably and properly. What a wonderful experience with the owners who make everything possible for a stay to remember!

I will recommend A Castle With a View anytime. The cars are safe where they are parked. I felt safe. I prefer bathing and I got a room with a bath. The room is spacious, neat as is the whole setup and layout of the gardens and the rest of the guesthouse. The reception from Brenda on arrival was very friendly and welcoming. She and her husband are very helpful.

Very nice stay. They came to clean the room while we were away but just forgot to replace the toilet paper. We were there for a wedding and when we didn't get back until midnight we couldn't call and ask. When we sent a message that there was no toilet paper in the morning at 07:00, Mrs. Brenda was there within 2 minutes. Thank you very much for the nice stay. Value for money and would stay there again.
My hubby and I felt very welcome at the guesthouse. The owners made us feel part of the family and did not encroach on our privacy. I left valuable belongings lying around the room and felt comfortable doing so. Parking was not an issue and our vehicle was secure behind the two electric gates and undercover parking. The property is in lovely condition and the garden is beautifully maintained. I will definitely stay at this establishment again should we visit the province.
Satisfied with everything but would have liked card facilities available.
First thing I noticed was the incredibly small TV and the basin in the bathroom was not in a clean state. Our bedding and towels were not changed ─ not even once during the 3 night stay. Twice I had to shower with cold water in the morning and once they forgot to put back the coffee mugs after we had used them. Whoever has the master remote for the DStv channels in the rooms kept changing the channels as they saw fit, never mind what we wanted to watch. I don't think I'd want to stay there again.
