Was pleasantly surprised with the minimalist layout, yet comfortable, adequate accommodation for a couple or single person. Everything is within striking distance. If you want to go shopping, you have to go by vehicle. If you want to visit the sea, it is again a 2 min walk. A relaxing atmosphere for a weekend or longer.
The flat is small and cosy, but is fitted for everything you might need for a few days. The location is great with a 2 minute walk to the water. In flower season the town is bright and colourful and the locals are lovely. Our hosts were helpful and we couldn't have have had a better getaway.

Breathing the sea breeze.
Although this accommodation is self-catering it is the first self-catering unit I've used that does not provide tea, coffee and milk for guest also soap for showering. The bedding is not up to the usual standard as the blankets, including the spare blanket, are way too thin to keep you warm at night. The TV could not be operated. The WiFi connection is extremely poor and I struggled to do business after hours.

This place is fully equipped with all the necessities for a 2 or more day stay! We were very kindly received by Pieter and will definitely recommend this quiet, private place to many people; especially those who need a getaway to a West Coast home! Enjoyed our quiet 2 days away.
Owner did not mention that there is no coffee, tea, sugar milk or soap in the unit. These items are of low value and nowadays are accepted as widely available. There is only a very small shop in Jacobs Bay that stocks the mentioned items and we therefore had to start looking around for what we needed when we arrived in the late afternoon. The loose mats on the floor and place mat on the kitchen counter urgently need a wash or replacement as they are dirty. No Covid protocol was followed. There is no sanitizer in unit. We were not received by anyone and had to call the owner's sister on arrival after he insisted we pass on our time of arrival, which we did and we were on time too. The sister was not wearing any mask.
A Deo Accommodation is great located. You can see, hear and smell the sea. Had a great time and will definitely visit again.

We had an awesome stay at A Deo! Everything you could possibly need with ample storage space. The views are awesome and you can hear the ocean at night. This private space allowed us to truly enjoy the silence of Jacobsbaai.
Will be able to recommend A deo, the owner is very accommodating and nice. Have a great time and relax.
