The host was an absolute darling. She was so friendly and kind and we felt right at home. The view was stunning. Wow, words can't describe it. I will definitely recommend A Heavenly View. One thing is certain, my husband and I will never forget our 10th year wedding anniversary at A Heavenly View.

Truly a delight! The host is an exceptional individual who goes the extra mile to ensure that you lack for nothing during your stay. The room was beautifully set out with lots of thoughtful decor touches. The location truly lives up to its name - the views are heavenly and the location is very convenient to Muizenberg village. Added to this was great value for money.

Room needs an upgrade. Tiles are old and broken. No shampoo or soap in bathrooms. Bedding was clean. Owner did, after I asked, provide hand soap. I have stayed in 8 different places in Cape Town in the past year with roughly the same cost and basic needs like shampoo, tea and coffee in rooms are always provided, but not at A Heavenly View. Apart from the view from the pool, the place is not special at all. The guests in the room next to us swore and vomited on Sunday morning and this added to an unpleasant experience.
The bed linen was creased and either looked like it had not been ironed or not changed after previous guests. The towels were old and thin and also smelled as if they had not been washed/changed. The host was only seen briefly on arrival and once briefly when I asked for a hairdryer. The parking was on the road and I had to park the car at a 45° angle.
The people and other guests were very friendly, and the facilities were fantastic.
Was a weekend to remember.

My boyfriend and I greatly enjoyed our stay. We found the owner and her staff to be friendly and helpful. It was the ideal place to rest after long days of sightseeing and had the most glorious pool to rest and soak up the sun at. The view from the pool area was gorgeous!
The guesthouse is very well located, within walking distance of the beach and shopping centre. What bothered us is the fact that there is only one braai for 3 units, which makes it a bit difficult if all the guests want to braai. The heavenly view is a bit overgrown. There is about only two meters of the sea visible from the terrace. The bed in the master bedroom of unit 1's mattress has seen better days. Also no place to hang your wet swimwear.

Great location! Neat and clean.
Information provided is not as it actually appears. There are so many stairs to get to your room that are not mentioned. We couldn't carry half of our stuff, because no one would carry such a heavy load to be able to get everything upstairs. It is also said that there is a sea view from your room which is also not visible, you have to go down all the stairs to the pool to see anything. There wasn't even room for our trailer, it had to stand in the way. It was damn hot in the room, we ask for a fan and the answer was, the owner doesn't keep fans on because she doesn't get that hot. It's not suitable for old people or people with babies, stairs are a real problem.
When we arrived at the resort, Suzette gave us warm welcome. Suzette is a nice and friendly person and that we love a lot. It's an incredible place, beautiful sea view and around shops like Checkers which are a 5 minute walking distance, also lovely restaurant around the resort. Value for money.

It was a beautiful place with the best view in Muizenberg! Very peaceful with a security guard who looks after the place every night. It is very close to the beach with many nice places to eat right next to the beach. A stone's throw from Kalkbaai and Vishoek which has everything one needs. I would definitely recommend them and go there again myself.
Very friendly service. Room neat. Just note that it is up the mountain, so you have to carry your bag up the stairs.
