We had a super stay at A'la Mossel 1. Well situated for walks on the beach. The place has lots of space and the veranda is very entertainment friendly with a view of the ocean. Stayinpaternoster Agent's staff was also very helpful.

Lovely house. We would definitely stay there again if the housekeeping gets sorted. The TV needs to be replaced. It has black lines all over the screen, which is not acceptable. Also had a problem with the kitchen and bathroom taps. Please inform the owner.
Lovely stay, beautiful view, close to everything within walking distance. Just felt a bit unsafe when barbecuing on the stoep, with the people illegally selling lobster there. They walk around and bother people.

It's a fantastic place suitable for 1 or 2 people, with everything you could need. Extra blanket and hot water bag for cold nights, heater, fan, induction plate, LED lamp for power outages, good WiFi, clean and tidy bed linen and bath towels, large fridge, sheltered porch and barbecue, and of course a breathtaking view of the sea. The place is located just around the corner from Voorstrand restaurant and only 70 m from the sea. An early morning walk on the beach is an absolute must. Remember to pack coffee, milk, wood and ice, the place is 100% self-catering. All I can recommend is that the owners please a handle on the dustbin's lid will be in the kitchen, and that mention will be made in advance of the extra breakages deposit. Furthermore, the place is 100% as in the photos. Really tops and good value for money. Will definitely stay there again!
Stay was absolutely awesome.
We only had the HK Vision box beeping every 2 minutes the whole Friday night. We reported this, but they could not find someone to come and sort it out, so they said we could switch it off. Other than that, all great. Thank you.

Wonderfully located near the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The house is very comfortable with everything you need, especially the 2 bathrooms. Outdoor barbecue was fantastic and gas stove a plus. Could perhaps provide a gas boiler for load shedding.

The oven did not work. A R1 000 deposit for 2 nights' accommodation was excessive. Can be adjusted by length of stay.

We had a fantastic weekend, will definitely come home again. Very quiet to relax and an incredible view.
The "breakage fee" is way too much. My husband and I both slipped in the shower due to a slippery plastic shower mat. We arrived on a Friday but only received the WiFi pin on Saturday. There were also people talking very loudly in the street during the night, it sounded like neighborhood watches. No instructions were given on how the stove worked and no fire lighters were available. One of the ladies we asked for WiFi pin on the Saturday morning was very curt when we inquired about it.
It was my second time staying in A'la Mossel. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. Old hair was still laying in the shower. Pillows were dirty. I had to go buy new pillows. Pillows are not washed. It stinks. Old soap spots were found on the mirrors. I took pictures of the pillows and the hair that were laying in the shower.

My wife and I really enjoyed the 3 days there, the place was neat and the view was fantastic from the balcony. I noticed there is no ice tray in the fridge, can you look into that in the future.
There were roof leaks and water in the master bedroom, as well as in the kitchen. There is also a leak above the dining room light and light shade is full of water which can be dangerous. The hot water bag also leaked resulting in the bed being a bit wet. Don't want to complain, but the owners should take note of this. Otherwise a good time thanks.

I would recommend A'la Mossel for a holiday, the location was very nice. The place inside was very neat and clean. From the porch we can saw the sea and the view was beautiful. Inside the house was everything we needed. Just sorry about the power outage. It didn't put us off.

Beautiful home, we loved the owner's personal touch of inspirational quotes and paintings. The pics do not do it justice. The shower head in the bathroom needs attention.
We really enjoyed A la Mossel. The view over Paternoster and the sea, the lovely porch with the roof and windbreak was absolutely a feast. The cottage is equipped with everything one needs. Attention can be paid to a thorough cleaning of the entire house as well as the fridge. On the surface, everything appears neat.
The view is amazing and the place is comfortable with everything that one would need. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance. The locals are friendly and the new micro brewery that's opened is fab.
The unit looks much bigger in photos. The location is good, but the unit is terribly cramped and it feels like you are not getting enough oxygen all the time.

Ala Mossel is definitely worth it.
Everything was comfortable and convenient with enough space and all the basic needs were provided. Price is the attractive aspect. Just a shame the one toilet has trouble working and I had to have the plumber come out twice. There is also no hot water in the kitchen.

Conveniently located and was more than adequate for our 2 nights' overnight stay. All the warnings about "petty crimes" made us a little uneasy, but we remained without incident - just heed the warnings. Beautiful village!

We had a wonderful rest. We are very impressed that you use local people to work in the restaurants, it is nice to chat with them about the town. The restaurants were excellent, from the Gaatjie to the Blikkie! Just a pity about the beggars around every corner.
