We truly enjoyed our stay here. The host, CW, is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a breathtaking view, and the room was fairly clean. The view is truly out of this world. It felt like I was on a different planet! Reminded me a lot of lakes in Sicily, Italy. Thanks so much for your efforts and providing us with a memorable stay! Furthermore, Wilderness is one of the most beautiful little towns in the world.
Booked the honeymoon suite which is simply amazing! The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. The hosts/owners were incredibly friendly and the breakfast delicious.
We had a very nice stay. We were kindly received and helped to settle in. Wonderful honeymoon suite. Got a good recommendation to eat out that night. The breakfast was the best ever: fresh, not greasy (bacon and eggs). Eggs fresh. Suggestion: if the host can help the guests with load shedding. There was no backup in our room (except a battery powered light) but we couldn't make coffee in the morning (load from 6 to 8 am) even though the WiFi worked during load shedding. Even just a flask of hot water would have made the situation much more pleasant.
We slept in a lovely room with a beautiful view and breakfast was delicious! Basie and Annemie are 2 beautiful people. Their hospitality is outstanding. We will definitely visit here again. Thank you both very much.

Lovely, comfortable and peaceful. One is not even aware of any other visitors. The lodges are so cozy furnished with more than enough of everything one needs. The host and hostess are of course great! Will definitely visit here again. Moosite view!

We had an amazing time at A Lodge on the Lake. Basie and Annemie really went out of their way to make our stay extra special. The place is excellently located, absolutely beautiful and stylish. Thank you for a super special 2 days!
The owner is incredibly friendly and very helpful. We had an incredibly nice stay. Not to mention the beautiful view. Modern, open and quiet. Best decision!
Lovely guest house with the most beautiful view of the Outiniqua mountain. Lovely tranquility on the north side with a view of the lake with the small island. Beautiful property. Delicious breakfasts included. Service and hospitality of the highest quality. Would stay there again anytime.
Upon arrival we were welcomed with loving and open arms by the new owners and felt at home from the moment we stepped foot in there. The friendliness and respect we got was awesome and we instantly clicked with new and old management. If I could give these people a 10 star rating,I would have. The rooms were stunning, neat and very clean. Breakfast was great every morning. Our only regret was that we could not stay any longer because they were unfortunately fully booked, but we will most definitely go back there and nowhere else in Wilderness just because of the way we were treated. The animals were also so loving especially Grappy and he climbed into our hearts as well. The new management are people's persons and thats why I know that they will make a huge success of this new adventure. Keep up the excellent job guys and see you shortly again.
