88 guests' feedbackThis was perfect for my needs. I liked the staff, the cleanliness and the very relaxed atmosphere. There were a few things to be aware of and to improve. The attached restaurant (separate business) is not open every night, so I had to find dinner elsewhere, which is quite challenging in Citrusdal. I couldn't connect to their WiFi in my room. They need to provide insect repellent and there were a lot of small midges. The room was a bit small but the bathroom a good size.
Very nice stay and had everything needed. The in-house restaurant was a bonus with friendly service and tasty food. Friendly reception and all the staff were very helpful.
It was the best value for money of all the places we have stayed in the last 3 years. A delicious breakfast was a bonus.

Nella-Marie's hospitality, tasty breakfast and bird friends put the icing on the cake at this spacious and beautiful natural gem on the Olifants River. One night is hopelessly too short.
The breakfast was a big surprise and something special, the way the eggs and bacon as well as mushrooms were served as a sauté, it shows you the effort that the hostess Nell'mare put into it etc.

We were in Citrusdal for a birthday function and just needed a place to overnight. We did not only receive friendly service, but it felt as if we were far away from any town. It was so quiet and lovely to laze in and next to the pool and when it hit 45°C we could take a delicious afternoon nap in the room with the air-conditioner. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and so filling. Thank you very much for a nice weekend away!

I really enjoyed my stay at Aan d'Oewer! The room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The breakfast was of excellent quality. The hostess was very nice and she made an effort to fulfill every request I had, e.g. I don't drink coffee and she gave us so many Rooibos tea bags that we couldn't even finish them! If I come to Citrusdal again, I will choose Aan d'Oewer again!
