We had a nice stay in the well-equipped house in a quiet, safe street. Everything is very neat and we would definitely like to stay there again.

Our stay at Aan de Heuvel was amazing. The house is lovely and has all the amenities you need. The private pool was amazing and the friendly and prompt responses from the staff were great too. The deck has amazing views over Swellendam. Definitely, a place me and my family will visit again.
1. Shower water pressure was not great. Very low and weak. 2. Bedroom 2 had no electric blanket. 3. Lounge TV was not a smart TV as Cottage 3. 4. Bathroom 2 didn't have sufficient towels on arrival but it was brought to the cottage.
We came to visit for a week and really enjoyed it. The people were friendly, helpful and African! The place is ideally located, would only suggest that garbage is removed daily.
This is definitely one of our go-to places. Really value for money, and it's neat and clean. DSTV, wifi. All you need. Can highly recommend if you are looking for a beautiful place to sleep over. Friendly service and helpful.

We worked in Swellendam for two weeks and stayed in different places of Aan de Leisure. Every place was very neat. The customer service at Aan de Leisure is excellent — every member of staff we worked with was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Will definitely use them again.
Shower pressure in main soap room was very weak. The next morning I sent a WhatsApp to the number provided for WhatsApp, but never got back to us. There was another shower in the 2nd room, but the reason we booked this unit was because 2nd bathroom.

The cottage is cool and having your own private pool was the highlight for us, inside the cottage is well kept.
This is one place we will definitely be back too! It was so quiet and relaxing and the place is so well kept and has pretty much everything you need! The outside area was by far my favourite. The braai area, splash pool and loungers are pretty much where we spent most of our time.
However, carrying capacity requires extra effort. I would have preferred more than one candle or a Magneto lamp.
Although I had confirmed our expected arrival time in advance, the keys were not available upon our arrival and we had to wait about 10 minutes. The cushions on the couch in the living room stank of cigarette smoke, otherwise everything was clean and tidy.
I loved that each bedroom has a door that opens onto the patio area. We were in cottage No 3 - the photos below are not cottage No 3, however, I had a wonderful stay in cottage No 3. I have no complaints. The photos that I saw of cottage No 3 on booking was a true reflection of the reality. Although the cottage was spotless - we tried to mop up some spills but could not find a floor mop to clean the floor, other than that all is good.
Will definitely would love to go back there again. Home away from home.
We were two couples, each in his own little house, complete with own splash pool each. Now that's a big treat for you. It is a homely place with everything one needs for a getaway. It's nice and central. My only complaint is that it is not disabled-friendly. At #3 there is e.g. stairs from the parking area, without any handrail. This type of thing is of course unimportant as long as one is still young and healthy, but old people are the tourists with money and time. It should be a good idea to consider their shortcomings.
It was a very wet weekend, but we didn't even notice. With the indoor grill, everything was under one roof. The room was just nice and warm. I could have watched all my sports channels, it was just perfect. My wife and I were very satisfied.
Everything was perfect, just sad we couldn't take our furry baby along with us.

What a beautiful house and such a nice stay. The children really enjoyed the pool - small, but just right. The veranda with a view was also a favorite and also when you lie in bed and look out. We had such a nice stay and rested.

Centrally located in a quiet cul-de-sac. The unit is well equipped and very tidy. The pool is a great treat on a hot day. Lovely porch with outdoor furniture and nice barbecue. We had a great time. We also spent a day in the Bontebok Park which is very close. Very nice break away.

Aan de Heuvel Self-catering Cottage is exactly as how its been advertised. The cottage has everything you need and it's very tidy. We will recommend it to anyone who wants a break from the busy city and we definitely will return. Swellendam itself as a small town has so much history to share, we really had a great time.
We would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway for the family and for a couples retreat.

Accommodation is lovely, perfect size for 4 people. Customer service is excellent. House was nice and clean on arrival with a nice few touches to make you feel welcome.
The accommodation is clean and neat, it is very nice and we were very comfortable. My only suggestion is to sort out the mattresses on the beds, its very hard and a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, it's a beautiful little cottage and very well kept. We will definitely recommend it to others and visit again.
Very neat, clean and modern and fairly quiet with a nice view from both bedrooms which open onto a wooden deck with double doors. In the summer the "splash pool" should be very pleasant. Indoor braai facilities nice and private and WiFi and DStv nice for long stays.
We had a great stay at Aan de Heuvel. The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The time we stayed here was cold, but the electric blankets and air conditioning (hot and cold) at Aan de Heuvel we didn't even know about the cold outside. The filter coffee machine, with filter coffee already provided, was also a bonus for us! Thank you very much, we will definitely recommend it!
