Wonderful. I was very happy. The family was exceptionally kind and considerate.
The location of the guest house is brilliant, feels like you are in the country but minutes from town. The backup system during load shedding was welcome as the heater stayed on during the cold winter nights.
The people are helpful and professional.
Accommodation here is a pleasure. It is clean, tasteful, well-appointed and beautiful. The area is so beautiful and the location between the trees is fantastic. Although it is only part of the home, it is completely private. It felt safe.
We had a wonderful stay and I would recommend people looking for accommodation in the Stellenbosch area to go to Aan de Vliet.

The accommodation worked well for us, with a room for us and a room for our two teenagers. We would definitely stay there again.
There was a mix up with the rooms but it was promptly dealt with and sorted out. A lovely 5 days spent in beautiful garden surroundings, friendly host and staff. Close enough to Stellenbosch centre yet away from noise and bustle. Can definitely recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at Aan de Vliet. Frieda is a wonderful hostess. Our unit was adequate in every way. The decor was beautiful, the facilities clean and tidy and the area where the guesthouse is, is perfect for visits to nearby wine farms and other activities! I am already looking forward to our next visit.
Weekend getaway to remember, Aan de Vliet really surprised me with their accommodation, we were welcomed with open arms. The room was equipped with more than we expected and even needed. A neat, spacious and beautiful room was given to us. Our weekend was great and we were able to really relax and rest. We will definitely visit again. Well done Aan de Vliet!
Somewhat far out of town, and the road to Aan de Vliet a bit dark in the evening.
It was neat and centrally located for our destination.
