We were pleasantly surprised at how warm our room was, despite the Bloemfontein winter! The shower had great water pressure and lovely hot water, and the winter sheets were cozy. The host was a gracious individual who accommodated our 7 am breakfast request at 6:45 am. Please remember to pet the resident basset. She loves people! The host's information and details pre-arrival were perfectly clear.

The service was very friendly and helpful, attention can definitely be paid to the cleanliness of the units, the boiler was very dirty and could not be used, the bed in room two is definitely not a king size bed as per advertising . The location of the guest house is not the best in Bloemfontein, but is very close to the main street and University.
The bed's base is built of brick and only a thin mattress on top. First, you bump your toes against the wall bases every time you walk to bed and secondly, it's uncomfortable and hard. The place needs an upgrade and a spring clean. No Wi-Fi. There is no information brochure about whether there is WiFi and if there is, what is the password?

The rooms were nice and tidy. The toilet in the room could have had a ceiling net in my opinion for extra privacy, although the high thatched roof is a nice decoration. The fireplace in the joint living room could perhaps have been lit to give that extra nice and warm feeling of visiting. Otherwise everything was nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious.

Safe overnight accommodation, but within campus area. Equipped for basic needs, but our unit had high roofs and shower was freezing due to there being no ceiling. Friendly and helpful owner. Bloemfontein generally feels dirty with no municipal refuse removal services at the moment.

I want to start by sincerely thanking Ansie for her hospitality. We felt at home at Aandmuzik from the moment we walked in. Room 3, which is right next to the braai area and lapa, was equipped with cutlery just in case we wanted to braai. Our room was particularly spacious, with two double beds and a fantastic, large bathroom. We initially wanted to bring extra coffee, because we drink so much coffee, but there was plenty available in the room and at the breakfast area. Speaking of the breakfast, it was phenomenal and I thank Ansie again and also Sophie for this. Aandmuzik definitely sees the Trollips again!

We enjoyed our stay at Aandmuziek Guesthouse. The room was comfortable, and the grounds are very attractive. The staff are kind and caring people. The location is very convenient for access to the University of the Free State, where my husband was attending a conference.
We visited all the important sights such as the Women's Monument, the War Museum, Grey College, Naval Hill and more. Our stay at Aandmuzik was very pleasant.
Me, my husband and my parents spent one night. We were well received and our rooms were neat and clean. We booked two "queen" rooms, but unfortunately the landlady decided that another guest needed the queen size bed that my husband and I had booked. My husband is very tall and therefore rarely sleeps comfortably on smaller, shorter beds. Otherwise, our experience was wonderful and I can recommend it. Also the breakfast was tasty and ready in time. If you find yourself in Bloemfontein during dinner, I can highly recommend The New York restaurant! P.S. Mila, the friendly dog, has a habit of running into cars while parking. So watch out for her.

This whole experience with Aandmuzik Guesthouse has been nothing but horrible. Firstly the GPS coordinates were completely inaccurate. The lady I spoke to at the guesthouse could not find our booking. After a huge struggle they found the booking. Upon arrival the bathroom door had no lock and couldn't close, pipes and wires all over above the bathroom and cupboards. TV does not work and to top it off we found cockroaches in the room. We could not sleep due to noisy guests screaming, whistles and loud music under our window. I am extremely disgusted and upset that I paid so much money for nothing. We tried to contact the owner and left a message. She has yet to contact us back.

Aandmuzik is a beautiful guest house and we were impressed upon our arrival. We had traveled far that day and were looking forward to a good night's rest. However, we were deprived of that by the guest house's owner's family who visited right under our bedroom window until late at night or in the morning hours. They talked loudly and laughed, and we couldn't sleep because of it. The result was that we got up tired the next morning and fell back tired on the road to complete our journey.
Everything was neat and clean. We were kindly received. Good value for money!

It is a remarkable place, and neat as a pin.
The room was clean and tidy and we were provided with everything you need. All that bothers is the open shower (no door) and toilet (which is in the room) and not built up to the roof. A person therefore does not really have privacy. This can become problematic if someone gets sick during the night and has to spend time in the bathroom.

Aandmuzik Guest House offers 2 en-suite Double Rooms and one Family Room with private entrances to the garden and pool area, 2 en-suite Double Rooms with balconies overlooking the garden and pool area and 1 more Double Room and Family Room upstairs. The annex offers two double rooms or a family unit with private entrances and an inter-leading door.
Each room includes a microwave, bar fridge, air-conditioning, TV with DStv, towels, toiletry supplies, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Other items such as hairdryers are available on request. Rooms are non-smoking, however, there are balconies for the smokers. Other facilities include free Wi-Fi, a lapa with a braai-area, a swimming pool and secure, undercover parking behind electronic gates.
An optional breakfast buffet is served every morning and currently guests are accommodated at different times that suits them, to ensure that everyone is comfortable.
