15 guests' feedbackMy parents had a great time staying at the accommodation.
Aandster was the perfect place where we could gather as a family from all over the country. Walking distance to everything in town. Open living area and kitchen. Fireplace will warm up the whole room wonderfully in the winter.
See stars.
Directions, using the dirt road, could be improved by the host.
The house and New Bethesda are a delightful combination.
We were a group of 9 adults (and 2 more babies), but there is plenty of room not to fall on each other's feet. The crackling wood floors give character to this Karoo home. The rooms are spacious and even the bunk beds in the living room did not bother - it is much larger than the photos show. The linen is white and the beds comfortable. Thanks for the fans in the rooms (maybe just a fan in the outside room too). We stayed very well and can recommend Aandster.
In a quiet area within walking distance of all attractions.
Great to escape from city life. Everywhere we walked were highlights.
Would recommend to families or group of friends.
Aandster may not be judged by his jacket. Outside it looks like a small house but inside the rooms are lovely spacious. The high ceilings are something special. Aandster's backyard with braai facilities as well as well-equipped kitchen was a pleasure to use. In our beautiful crime-ridden country, it was truly wonderful to feel safe in New Bethesda.
Well equipped house. The braai needs urgent attention - ruinous. A veranda next to the house would help keep one's car from baking in the glaring sun the entire day.
Comfortable, neat accommodation in the center of town.
We found the visit to New Bethesda very interesting. The people are all very friendly and helpful. Aandster's courtyard garden is very neglected and the weeds are half-full in and around the garden. The swimming pool was green with silt and unusable. We looked around and there are quite a few other places that would appear to be a better option.
When we arrived there, the place looked small, the dirt streets and small green gardens looked nostalgic. Upon unlocking the front door, the wooden floors and spacious rooms took our breath away. It was quiet and peaceful with us as a family grilling a little meat on the back porch. Thanks again to LekkeSlaap and Aandster for their kind help. We and our car were safe and there was no cause for concern. Every person you meet on the street is friendly and strikes up a conversation. What a great experience. The Owl House was a wonderful, yet dark fellowship. My heart went out to the Helen Martin. Grateful that we could experience it.
