Comfortable and spotless room with its own braai and nice view and secure parking within the property. Host and hostess are lovely, warm and friendly people and made sure we had everything we needed. Maskam, their Labrador, made us feel so welcome.

We were way too early and Isabel was able to receive us earlier. Lovely barbecue place, beautiful view of the mountain. Very thankful for the anti theft, something most other places don't have. The mosquito net is fantastic. We went out to eat during load shedding and were pleasantly surprised when we got home to find that we had power at our accommodation!

Well equipped with heaters, air conditioner, electric sheets etc. A microwave oven and facilities for braai are available, but unfortunately not accessories such as a stove top or pans for making your own breakfast or side dishes for braai. Fortunately there was a very friendly lady on duty who provided us with a braai pan from the main house.

Despite a street with potholes and an environment that didn't look so good, we were pleasantly surprised and had a nice stay. The owners received us kindly and also referred us to the Red Ox for dinner, where we found the Werner Meyer collection of paintings very interesting.
Hostess is biased about males! Ask that we please everything must be kept clean. Maybe she just needs to be more calm. When they barked once, she immediately asked if they were going to bark? One does not feel at home at all. We travel a lot with our puppies but will not go there again. Doesn't feel welcome at all. The gate is also an annoyance. You hear every time the gate opens and closes.

We enjoyed our stay in Aant Dorpseind very much and I just wished our stay was longer. The accommodation was bright, spotless and very accessible in terms of unpacking and repacking our car. The kitchenette contained everything one could need and the little stoep with the built-in braai was just so lovely. Warm welcome. The unit would have been perfect for 2 adults but doesn't quite work for 3. As an adult who got the third bed it was quite uncomfortable (no reading light; no bedside table and hard bed intended for a child). In general, Aant Dorpseind creates a good homely impression.
After each day's return, the unit was tidied up again and you get the impression that it is the first time you have stepped into it. Everything perfectly back in its place. It wants to be done! The impression you get of Aant Dorpseind on first visit is, I definitely want to stay here. The layout of the unit is very comfortable and everything appears crisp with the white bed linen. Furniture is modern which blends in well with the theme of the unit.
This is a great area for viewing flowers. We unfortunately only spent one night stay in Vanrynsdorp, and would recommend future guests stay at least two days, in order to fully explore the area.
