We enjoyed it very much. It is nice and neat. However, we were having trouble with the network, and there was also an error coming in with the power. The power tripped every now and then, but the hostess helped to fix it quickly. Thank you very much for the nice rest.
We had a wonderful stay. Cute little place, would really recommend it. Would be nice if there was a (splash pool) for the extra hot weather.
One toilet not working properly but otherwise all good.
Had a great stay. The one toilet doesn't work, and there are lights in the house that don't work.
Filthy and grimy. Request to be cleaned went unheeded.
The place was okay but the state of the place isn't. Needs maintenance done.
We arrived at Aasvoëlnes on Monday, 2nd October in the evening and were disappointed to find that one of the bedroom doors leading to the braai area could not lock as there was no key. We phoned the owner for assistance in locking the door, but she was unhelpful and claimed that there was a key for the door when they were last there. I even took a picture of the chalet key set and sent it to her. I insisted that the door had to be locked because our son would be sleeping in this room, or else the owner must arrange alternative accommodation for us. She merely said it was not her problem and abruptly ended the call. We then called Field Security Services and the guard brought a spare key for the door. However, when we turned the key in the lock, it broke. So there was no way we could use this room and had to lock the other door from the inside to keep ourselves and our belongings safe.
We will definitely go to Aasvoëlnes again. Rest for the soul and all the welcome visitors around your home just made it even more hospitable. We didn't even need to drive in to the Wildlife Park, we saw everything we wanted to see by the river. Treated with lions, lions and more lions! Marloth Park is an option in the future for sure.
Als was netjies en skoon en als wat mens benodig is daar. Die advertensie sê dat daar DStv is. Het met die eienaar gereël en sy het gesê dat daar DStv is met sekere kanale, maar alles was af. Dit het baie gereën toe ons daar was. Die hele leefarea se dak lek erg.
