Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom that has either a separate bath and shower or a shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen and lounge are open-plan, and facilities in the kitchen include a fridge and freezer, a microwave and a stove with oven as well as a washing machine and ample built-in cupboards to store any crockery and cutlery.
The lounge has comfortable couches and offers a clear 180-degree view of the ocean through large windows, and a large flat screen TV is mounted on the wall which has full DStv for viewing entertainment. Abalone Self-Catering also has indoor and outdoor braai facilities and 1 lock-up garage is available for a vehicle.
A few meters away from the apartment guests will find rock pools to explore. A short drive away the picturesque seaside village offers restaurants, various water sports and many other activities to make a memorable holiday.

We were welcomed on arrival and shown around. The house has a stunning sea view in a quiet neighbourhood. It is within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to the restaurants in town. It has absolutely everything that you will need (and more) for self-catering. The beds are comfortable with clean bedding and an electric blanket for cold winter nights. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Abalone Self-Catering. The house was immaculate with all the necessary amenities. The view was spectacular, and the location was perfect.
The view is unsurpassed. Housekeeping is great, and we used the laundry service, which was excellent. There are a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. Lambert's Bay is a curious mixture of small-scale industry, fabulous wildlife (Bird Island gannets), and an exciting coast. It really grew on us during our stay.

We were 2 adults and one teenager. The location was great, as you can walk to restaurants, shops and are on the beach with rock pools.

A superb weekend stay that made it difficult to leave! Lovely ocean views from a tastefully furnished home. Everything you need is at hand and the secure undercover parking is a bonus. (I suspect that might become an issue with more than one vehicle though.) Fantastic restaurants nearby and friendly locals just put the cherry on top. We will be back.
Future guests should only note that there is not enough parking space for two vans. We had to park one van at another place for the night.
We were received by a very friendly woman. She was very helpful. The house is beautiful inside with the most beautiful furniture. The view perfect, you couldn't ask for a better view.
The place inside may look like the pictures, but the problem lies with how the place looks outside. The place is neglected and dirty. It stinks where you have to park as there is a sewage drain. You can't sit outside because the table is battered. Braai was dirty and to top it all we were told on our arrival that there is another outside room that other people rent. It was unacceptable and I will never go there again or recommend anyone to go. The exterior photos are just as important as the interior photos. I was shocked to see the condition of the place and would never have booked there if I had seen the pictures. The place was a big disappointment for us.

The house has an excellent location and is very tastefully furnished. The interior is spacious and can comfortably accommodate large groups. Theunette (hostess) is very helpful and a nice person who will make sure everything is in order. I can highly recommend Theunette's place.

The tranquility and the most beautiful view of the sea and the sound of the waves make this place special! Soft leather sofas make you just disappear so peacefully.

The only thing that bothered was that everybody walking along the beach could look right into the living area, with some local people even trying to sell there goods that way.
It was very nice. Inside very large,, nice and tidy. Dars parking for your car too. We have not received any complaints. Trust me, it's worth booking with Abalone Self-Catering, because we'll definitely be going again.

A nice big house overlooking the sea. What more could you want to stand in an open plan kitchen and watch the sun set over the sea. Very nice stay.

Theunette is a wonderful hostess - friendly and helpful and they also make the most delicious Sauvignon Blanc on their farm Kookfontein just outside Lamberts Bay. Their sea house has certainly the best location in Lamberts Bay - most beautiful sea view and a few steps to a small sheltered beach. The house has everything one needs. There is an outdoor and indoor barbecue. We will definitely visit again!

We had a fantastic vacation here. Everything was neat and more than enough. The view is to die for and the town is neat with friendly locals. We are really satisfied with everything and would make use of Abalone Self-Catering again.
I was pleasantly surprised with the establishment. I have seen the pictures on the web page but they really do not give you an impression of the fantastic unit. Indoor and outdoor barbecue, 3 rooms with 3 bathrooms. Massive living area and a patio outside that makes you forget you're in a town. We spent most of our time on the veranda enjoying the view of the sea which was literally a stone's throw away. The owner himself was also fantastic. Even though we arrived late, Theunette was there to welcome us. The lights were on, the heater had already started chasing away the worst of the chew and music playing in the back ground just to make you feel welcome and at home. It was truly a wonderful getaway just far enough from the city to make you truly feel like you were on vacation. They will definitely see us again.
