It was a nice break from city life.
I arrived late in the evening and the owner was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the windows in the room could not open and the aircon did not work. So it was an uncomfortable and hot night. A big advantage was that I could comfortably get back on the road early the next morning without having to struggle to get out of the premises. The WiFi was almost unusably slow.
Children would have liked a swimming pool for the heat. The overnight parking seemed safe and there were no incidents, but one wonders if more could not have been done.

Abbiamo put a baby bath with toys in the room for us (2 year old). The room is child-friendly, clean and tidy with plenty of space. There are a few places to eat nearby which makes it convenient.

Second time we spend the night here on our way to Kgalagadi! All facilities very neat and very clean! Kitchen very well equipped for self-catering. Biltong, rusks, juices and delicious chocolate for use by guests! Very good value for money!

Very neat. We wanted to have breakfast, but it seemed that no other guests wanted breakfast except us. I inquired about breakfast and host hesitated to say if we could eat there. It almost seemed like they weren't willing to provide breakfast just for the two of us. My husband then said we would find something in town. Other than that, no complaints.
Abbiamo Guest House is very tastefully furnished and equipped with everything one would need. Refreshments in the fridge after a long drive were a very nice treat. Would recommend them anytime.

Abbiamo Guest House was an excellent choice for accommodation in Upington. The area is very central, yet quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is very modern and tidy, perfect for a good night's rest. Anne-Marie is very friendly and very helpful and makes a lot of effort.
We came all the way from Namibia and therefore arrived very late, but still we were kindly received by the owner who was very helpful. Abbiamo, a beautiful, well located new guest house, with very nice decor, safe parking and a nice garden layout. The rooms are spacious, with the necessary for guests who want to make use of the delicious treats in the fridge. It is absolute value for money. However, I only have one recommendation, and the owner assured us that he has already tried to get it fixed. We drove on our GPS coordinates, and the final destination was given incorrectly, which caused us to struggle for another three quarters of an hour to get to the right address after 2000 km and very tired. I assume the problem has been sorted out as it is a huge embarrassment to the owners. It doesn't help if your guests arrive grumpy because they think the owners were careless about the matter! The rooms were very neat and clean and it was the perfect overnight stay with spacious rooms and beautiful bathrooms.
Anne-Marie put out Easter eggs for our 2 children for Easter morning - it was great! The room is nice and spacious, plenty of coffee and enough milk for a few cups each! And the bathroom is very, very neat.
We really enjoyed our overnight stay! The host and hostess received us kindly and quickly made us feel at home. The accommodation is brand new, neat and very comfortable! Very close to the Desert Palace Casino! Definitely worth the price!
