Some can be converted into twin beds on request, and each room features a private bathroom with a walk-in shower; in addition, each bedroom has air-conditioning and a remote-controlled ceiling fan.
The well-equipped kitchen contains the necessary appliances to prepare and cook meals including a gas stove and gas oven. Guests are welcome to bring their own Nespresso pods and coffee beans. They accommodated us to arrive a bit earlier to drop off our goodies, had the house nice and warm with a fire on our arrival, and of course, their lovely home-brewed wine provided as a treat. Peaceful and quiet. Just what one needs for a well-deserved breakaway. The place was spotless, with loads of private areas as were a group of 8, a nice fireplace and loved the woodfire stove in the kitchen. Loved the ensuite bedrooms! I will definitely go back again, soon.
Abbotts Hill exceeded our expectations. We rested well, slept comfortably, each room has its own bathroom which respected everyone's privacy. Dianne made us feel so welcome! I will definitely go back again.
Jim was a fantastic host. We were 4 couples with small kids and loved that each room had its own ensuite. Everything you needed it had. We enjoyed the fireplace the most with what felt like an unlimited supply of wood. We all agreed we would be back in the summer.

Enjoy the house, the furniture, the en-suite bedrooms, the pool, the braai and the garden.
We visited in the winter and the fireplaces (especially the Aga in the kitchen) were just magic. The pool looks amazing, but unfortunately it was mid-winter for us. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decor is beautiful and the facilities are great. I can recommend it for a quick breakaway weekend from the Cape or for a long break. A nice farm visit. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the horses and the adults the wine tasting.
The guest house was beautiful, more than what we expected. The owner was very nice and checked in to ensure everyone had a safe travel.
It is nature clean and so peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The pool is truly the best, I will definitely go again. The hospitality is 100% and the safety! I slept like a baby.
