We slept well at Abiento Guesthouse. Maryke was very friendly and helpful. Might just suggest they replace the shower head in the room we slept in.

We only stayed one night. Reception was friendly, the room and included breakfast were good. The place is really central and could easily move from there.
An enormous effort was made to accommodate us after we were told on arrival that the booked room had been given to someone else. It is greatly appreciated. However, it was very disappointing when breakfast was not served in time before my people had to be at their duty.
Accommodation was comfortable but cold. The room is wonderfully large with nice furniture but not cozy. It was an extra cold weekend and although we were spoiled with electric blankets, only half worked. There was no DSTV, just enough hot water for one to shower. The bathroom has no towel rails or hooks. No place to put a toilet bag. The breakfast was fantastic!

Everything was nice and clean. The following can be provided: Soap dispensers in the shower and a washcloth for the kitchen. The double bed was not the best quality. It sags in the middle and we slept very uncomfortably.
The accommodation was excellent and this coupled with the hospitality and professional manner in which I was received makes this guest house an absolute winner! Well done Amy and team, I will definitely use your services again if I have to spend the night in Bloemfontein.
The guesthouse is ideally situated for people associated with Grey College. The management could not have been more accommodating and looked after all our needs. Very nice pool with different room size to cater for a variety of needs. Highly recommended!

We received the friendliest reception and immediately felt at home. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable with sliding doors onto the pool. It is centrally located and the breakfast was very good. Would recommend it to everyone and will definitely go back again.
We had a wonderful stay at Abiento. It's conveniently close to schools, the Sand du Plessis theatre, etc. Linen and breakfast were really top notch and it's the ideal overnight place in Bloemfontein for school activities. The free cappuccinos and friendly staff are a further plus!

Travelling between Durban and Cape Town all we needed was a good night's sleep. This was quite impossible due to the most hideously uncomfortable bed. We got absolutely no sleep and were forced to leave at 4am. Unrested, grumpy and feeling ripped off! Please recommend to the owner to try and sleep in that bed for a night! Would welcome feedback.
