Starting before our arrival the owner, Tilla, was responsive and understanding of our needs. We needed a good internet connection and Tilla upgraded the router system; of late, George has been subjected to more than its fair share of loadshedding and Tilla has installed an inverter system. Last but not least, due to our particular circumstances, we have twice been faced with extending our stay and Tilla has responded positively to help us. The hospitality and consideration shown to us by Tilla has been above and beyond and we do not hesitate in recommending Above Par @ Kingswood.
Tilla is an absolutely brilliant hostess and full of love. It was our first visit but definitely not our last. The privacy of the room is exceptional.
Rooms beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Safe overnight with beautiful view. Tilla very friendly and hospitable, even made a reservation for us at a nice place to eat. I highly recommend Above Par and will certainly stay there again myself. Very good value for money. Thank you Tilla.
We stayed for 5 days in extremely comfortable, clean and luxurious accommodation. I really enjoyed the bookshelf. WiFi was always available which was quite important for me because I had to work while the rest were playing golf. Felt very safe. Thank you very much, Tilla. We will definitely come and stay again if we come in that direction.

It wasn't a long holiday, but the 2 nights my husband and I spent there were special and the owner is very friendly and helpful. If I'm in the area again I will definitely book there again.
Very beautiful, neat and peaceful. The accommodation is a must for couples visiting George. The owner makes sure guests are looked after and is very friendly and happy to help give your time at Above Par just that little something extra that is really special.
What an unforgettable weekend. The property is located in one of the most beautiful parts of our country and I have never seen a house with a view like Above Par @ Kingswood. Fairy tale beauty. Tilla, our hostess and owner, is friendly and compassionate and goes above and beyond what you pay for. The room is beautifully furnished, comfortable and you sleep cuddly and warm under a goose feather duvet. I can't wait for our next visit and recommend the guest house 100%.
Tilla is a sweet, kind person. Although we were booked into the wrong suite for one night, she quickly corrected the mistake the next day when I pointed it out to her (we booked the mountain view suite). However, the other suite is superb! Tilla went out of her way for me (laundry by professional Maria, Tilla's own golf cart, etc. Oh yes and built up a braai for us, ice, shipping, etc.). So thank you very much. We will definitely be going out again at Above Par.
I plan to stay at Above Par again and always.
