Very nice stay. Ria received us generously. The place is extremely colorful and tasteful and the room was beautiful. Bed and bedding crisp, complete with mosquito net. Everything exactly where you look for it. Even fresh fruit, ice cold water in the fridge, coffee, tea and a little sherry for a sundowner. Air conditioning was most welcome. Riebeek's sun sometimes stands still in the summer! Thank you Absolute Castillo, we were able to thoroughly enjoy our grandson's school concert and sleep well!

We thought we were to arrive at 14:00 but ended up needing a later check in, we were so well accommodated even going out at night and it was easy coming in and out.

The historical portraits on the walls form a pleasant contrast with the modern facilities. An extra treat was the ringing of the church bells on Sunday morning and the rooster trying hard to get the sun to rise. Nostalgic.
