Our recent stay at Absolute Safari Guest Lodge was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of nature, this lodge provided an experience that was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived on September 22nd until our departure on September 25th, we were treated to a serene and peaceful atmosphere that allowed me to truly unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation itself was exceptional. The lodge was beautifully appointed with amenities that didn't compromise on the rustic charm of the lodge. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room, from the comfortable bed and tasteful decor to the well-equipped bathroom. It felt like a home away from home, and we looked forward to returning to it after each day's adventures. Speaking of adventures, the lodge's location is ideal for exploring the surrounding natural beauty including KNP. Whether it was going on a safari, hiking through the nearby trails, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll on the lodge's grounds, there was never a shortage of outdoor activities to indulge in. The staff at Absolute Safari Guest Lodge were exceptional hosts. They were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request or question. Dining under the starry African sky added an extra layer of magic to the experience. Overall, our stay at Absolute Safari Guest Lodge was a truly unforgettable one. The combination of luxurious accommodation, a serene atmosphere, and the beauty of nature made it a perfect getaway. If you're looking for a place to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a touch of luxury, we wholeheartedly recommend this lodge. I'm already planning our return visit, and we can't wait to experience its charm again.

The house is very clean and tidy and spacious with lots of space. What you see in the pictures is what you get. On our arrival the warthogs came to say hello, seen them every day and many other animals. In the evening the lion is heard roaring in the distance. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi didn't work when first switched on, but Dirk the owner quickly sent someone out. Jacuzzi unfortunately doesn't heat much, but our weekend was rainy and cloudy and cool autumn weather for the evening, hot Jacuzzi would be a bonus for the cooler evenings. Our time was just too short.

We just want to say a big thank you to Uncle Dirk. The house was very nice and clean. The house is nicely located among the trees. Many animals visited us regularly and the night monkeys were a winner every night. We rested well and had a good time. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful place. The house is very well equipped and the interior decoration is special. Attention was paid to the smallest details. We had a great time around the big table on the veranda and many animals came to visit us. Will definitely want to visit again as soon as possible.

Very helpful host. Kudus and warthogs that come for breakfast and in the evening the night owls come to visit, and the night sounds of the lions and hippos were awesome!

The visit was excellent. Very sorry that the Jacuzzi did not work. That had been the main reason for renting the place. Thanks to the owner who quickly made a plan to send an electrician out, but the bath only worked for a while.

This owner accuses you of missing keys only to not refund your key deposit. I have been renting a house in Marloth for 25 years at least 4 times a year and there have never been any mistakes. This time there was a cup that broke off the ear that was previously glued. Then they accused me that the loft's keys were not in the box inside the house. Now that I inquire again I am told that one of the keys to the front door locks is gone and they cannot enter the house. How did they come in the first time to accuse me of the upper door's key. Do you want to tell me they haven't sent a cleaning company to clean after we left for 13 days! I would not recommend the place at all. They are not shy about guests.

Very nice place. Large enough to accommodate 8 people comfortably. The house is equipped with everything you need. Just the jacuzzi that won't fill up. If it is ok I will definitely go again. HAD A VERY VERY NICE!!!!!

On arrival at the holiday home, the fridge, geyser was not switched on. Plastic sheets still on beds (they can put them on and take them off at least an hour before arrival, everyone checks in from 14:00). Juccuzi's pipe was broken (someone came to fix it). DStv was not working (someone came to fix it). Power trip if Juccuzi is turned on and an aircon in the house. It was distracting to struggle with all that on day one. Friends and children were dissatisfied. Deposit: R1000 deposit was paid now they say we took a towel and left a different color towel (no one brought towels except blue swimming towels).

We had a lovely long weekend here. I was very impressed with all the small detail in and around the house. In addition to the standard facilities such as towels, soap and linen, there were also cleaning necessities, mosquito repellent, coffee and sugar as well as spices. It was very comfortable. The experience in and around the park was amazing. We had a good look at the various animals. Everyday we had a guest - Friday a kudu and a bushbaby, Saturday a warthog, Sunday some zebras and Monday morning just as we departed, an ostrich.
