Everything was painstakingly neat and clean, and the car gate and key to the chalet is easy to access and worked perfectly as I only arrived late in the evening. Slept very well and woke up with the most peaceful, beautiful view. I will definitely visit again!

The unit has a beautiful sea view. You sit on the porch and look out over the sea. We didn't even turn on the TV at all. WiFi was good. Place was tidy inside with everything you need.
We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Me, my sister and her 2 teenagers - one slept on the double couch and we brought an air mattress for the other. It was nice and quiet. The accommodation was clean and tidy. Everything you need was there. There was a function at the venue, and at first we thought it was going to bother us, but not at all - it was still peaceful. We want to say a big thank you to Corene for the wonderful relaxing weekend.

Thank you to Corene and her team (Brenda) who went out of their way to make our holiday more special. The unit is walking distance to a private sea bay and a shop that stocks the basic necessities. It is located in a private nature reserve where we could occasionally see goats and other animals. In the evening we were surrounded by the starry sky and the roar of waves. The unit is neat and has everything needed. The chalet's covered terrace braai overlooks the sea. The chalet is within driving distance to the nearest center with a supermarket and other shops as well as several restaurants. We really enjoyed our 10 days and it was relaxing to get away from the city. Thank you!

In the heat, better fans in the accommodation would have improved the experience. There is also an abundance of flies, so it was not possible to sleep with the windows open in the terrible heat. We couldn't even keep the doors open when you turn on the lights. The kitchen space is just meager, I really wouldn't be able to cope with it for more than the 3 days we were there. If you want to spend one or two evenings by the sea, in a quiet environment where you have access to the sea and the beach, for a reasonable price, I would recommend the place. The places to eat, if self-catering is not your thing, are few and far between, if you are not prepared to drive a bit. Make sure you are aware of the better places in town to hit up for a healthy meal.
Place inside was clean. Would have been nice if there was milk available for the coffee.
It's beautiful, the place is just right for two people. The hostess not very friendly, and does not respond to messages. The view is nice, but can't exactly walk on the beach. Very rocky and must use footpaths. But wanted to see that part of the Cape, and the goal was to rest.
No load shedding alternatives. The unit is basically just a small sleeping place for two. This bed is hard and feels smaller than a double bed. Absolutely no provision is made for load shedding.
It is definitely not self-catering for 4 adults, but perhaps only suitable for an overnight stay for 2 adults with 2 children. The bar fridge is just a regular bar fridge that can't even hold a bag of ice, let alone 5 days worth of food.

We had a great stay at Sea Trader. The units are well equipped with everything you need. You only need to bring your food and clothes. With several nice restaurants in town, food is almost unnecessary. Due to the location it is very safe and private with no unwanted visitors to bother us. The units offer a nice view of the sea and in the evening you can relax in front of the braai on the stoep while listening to the waves breaking. We really enjoyed it! West Coast is the best(est) coast!

What a beautiful unit. Comfortable, clean and perfect. Good location with a stunning view over the sea. We only used the unit in the evening, as we have been exploring in the area during the day. Was perfect for our purposes.
The sea view from the veranda was the highlight. We had a great time. Just the right getaway we needed. Only criticism was that the fridge was too small for us, but we adjusted. Had a surprise there on our last afternoon when a small game goat walked past in front of our porch. The children screamed with excitement. I was able to take some nice pictures of him/her. Will definitely visit again.

What a lovely time we had not only in St Helena Bay, but also at Sea Trader. The perfect spot with a beautiful view of the sea. Exactly what we needed to scale down and recharge batteries. Many thanks to Leon for his hospitality, interesting conversations and assistance with our visit there. He really went out of his way to make our time at the sea as nice (warm) and comfortable as possible. Would love to visit St Helena Bay and Sea Trader again in the future.
Sea Trader is perfect for an overnight stop for a maximum of 3 people. Beautiful sea view and secure parking. Units are not for 4 persons for longer than 2 days. Space is small, especially if you have bad weather and fridge is hopelessly too small for a longer period, but perfect getaway for a couple or a family of 3 for 1 or 2 nights.
It's too small for 3 guests (2 adults and a child).
No one was there to meet us on arrival. The chalets were not cleaned during our 4 day stay. They did not change the towels, refill the toilet rolls etc. As far as self catering goes it has minimal crockery, cutlery etc and no pots to cook with, even though they give you an electric 2 plate counter top stove. A bar fridge is inadequate for a 4 day stay. The toilet didn't stop flushing. The bed side lamps in the main room didn't work on the 1st night. Seems that no-one checked the rooms before we arrived. They did however replace the light bulbs after we asked for them. They charge the same fee for all the chalets even though they are very different in size. No security, chalets are open onto open ground that leads to the road. Workers were busy at Sea Traders and there was nothing cordoning off the chalets from the area they were working. The car park is not lit at night. After the wedding reception it was pitch black in the car park. No lights to enable guests to walk back to their chalets. Lovely little cove to walk to from the venue area, makes for great photos for a wedding but I wouldn't recommend the chalets.
Next time would stay a few more days.

This is the second time in less than a month that I have stayed at Sea Trade. It was so good before and I just had to go back for more and will definitely go again. I recommend their accommodation to anyone who wants to get away from the noise and the shops. There are shops where you can buy everything you need for a few days away, but the shops are far enough from the accommodation so that you can enjoy the tranquility.
You can hear the sea from your bedroom! Would definitely recommend and will stay with Sea Trader again!

We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered the private piece of beach at the accommodation, our whole family enjoyed it very much! Also felt very safe inside Cape St Martin. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!
It was a wonderful visit. The sea is a few steps away from the house and it was very safe.
Was perfect for an overnight stay, but a bit small for four people for much longer than that. We had to put the fold-away bed up ourselves and put the sheets etc. on. Otherwise, the service was fine.

The patio was dirty with cobwebs and dirt on the floor. The living area had a mop, broom and bucket left near the front door - poor presentation to guests. The geyser was not switched on, so we had to wait for hot water to take a shower. The bathroom was a bit cramped.

The chalets are beautifully decorated and fully equipped. The chalets are in walking distance of the beach and when sitting on the patio you experience the most beautiful sunsets. An early walking on the beach is just what the soul needs. We will definitely be back!

The area is breathtaking. Chalets very neat. There should be more info on the site re the layout of each chalet. Was under the impression there are 2 bedrooms in each. We had a great time.
We had a wonderful stay. All facilities were clean and tidy with nice decor. It's a place that I wouldn't suggest for a week's stay, but rather one or two nights as the 4 units don't allow much privacy, luckily for us there was only 1 other family there for a night during our stay. But the unit contains everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our reception was very friendly and helpful regarding restaurants, shops etc/ that you may need in the area. Thank you for a pleasant two evenings.

The accommodation is absolutely suitable for people attending a wedding on the premises and just want a place to sleep. The chalet really only sleeps two people as the other "bed" is a sleeper couch.
Place is stylish and neat. Nice sea view. Quiet and peaceful. For self-catering units, consider a bread knife or sharp multi-purpose knife. Frying pan or small stove might not be a bad idea either.
We were received like old friends with our arrival. Leon took us to our front porch. He also told us about the amusement of the village and where we can get it. We were also told where the restaurants are. He also explained how we can drive to avoid the gravel road. We found everything which he referred us. We felt like old residents. He did not bother us or check us, because I was with young people. The place felt like our own little paradise. The environment as well as the place of residence. Everything was clean and tidy. We did not want to leave the place in a conspicuous condition, as it would be a great injustice against the reception and accommodation we had. It was lovely to clean a clean place. Many thanks for the hand wash, shower gel, detergents, soft white towels, soft white bedding and all the other delights that make you feel so special. The weekend was unforgettable for me and my daughters. We could not get off our Sea Traders high last night and talked late last weekend. Sea Traders have now found life-long friends in me and my daughters. Even the puppies made us feel at home. We will definitely recommend the venue for our family and friends birthdays and weddings. We took the most beautiful pictures of ourselves.
Fantastic, very neat, at the Sea Trader. WiFi available. Very quiet, if you get used to it you will wish you can stay longer. Will definitely come again. My husband says it's very dark outside and that there can be an oven (I do not think so). Will recommend it. Owner, Leon, made us feel at home.

Lovely accommodation for a short stay or maybe overnight but not for a holiday as the kids would get bored. The area is still new, so not much to do.
This is a good place to take a break at, the service was good and its proximity to the sea and beaches is excellent. The beds were not as comfortable though.

It was lovely to stay here. It was close to the sea, my boys spent hours on the rocks and beach. The visits from Chocolates the cat were a nice surprise and helped to quickly feel at home.

Is very nice for just a weekend as it is very small for a family. Had trouble controlling the hot/cold water as it is a gas geyser. They will have to pay attention to that as I am used to a gas geyser and not having to turn off the hot water when you turn on the cold tap. Other than that it was very nice for what you pay.

I found the peace and quiet I was looking for. Really enjoyed the stay! Just the last morning I ran out of gas for a hot shower. It would be convenient if there is a closet behind the door where clothes can be hung, because if someone stays longer than 5 days, it will be necessary. West coast people as you want them, the place was small but it should be like that with only the essentials. Painfully neat. The owner is very hospitable, and quickly got to know us and made sure we were at ease.
The facilities are great and very clean. The service was top notch. I had problems with my car on Saturday night and the owner and his family drove 50 km to come and help me.

Sea Trader stay was a very peaceful and pleasant one, the owners were very warm, friendly and hospitable.
Beautiful even though there was only a limited sea view. However, the marketing photos indicate a sea view. However, the apartment is not within a few steps of the beach as it appears in the marketing photos. The apartment was very nice and nicely decorated and beautifully clean. Comfortable lounge and dining room. Welcome drinks such as tea and coffee and milk were provided. The apartment is well equipped if you wanted to stay there longer. There are a few minor issues: Limited TV channels, no luggage benches (we had to use the dining room chairs for that) and although the owner has no control over it, the access road to the Sea Trader of about 1 km should be in better condition. Tourists rent smaller cars that are not suitable for them... owners drive big 4x4 cars and don't notice it that much.
Amenities as well as location very nice, but very far to drive and last stretch of dirt road terribly corrugated iron.
It's a bit far from town, so make sure you get all your food and barbecue in advance. The last part of the road there is dirt road, but one can avoid this by driving through the residential area on the way to and from town. Long, clean open beaches. Really enjoyed it!

Although the apartments themselves are comfortable and tidy, there is not much to do. The advertisement also gives the impression that the accommodation is sea front. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

Really have no problem with Accommodation & Sea Trader! It's only annoying if you can hear your neighbors talking through the apartment. Furthermore, it is a very nice area and setting.
We were in a very nice area near the sea which was not too busy.
Being fairly new, the accommodation is modern and really clean. For the first time in a self-catering unit, I did not wash the crockery before using it! The sleeper-couch is just as comportable as the bed. The location is perfect for a holiday or to attend a wedding at Sea Trader. It is peaceful and quiet - we did not see anybody who did not belong there. The unit was well equiped, but may be an iron and ironing board could be added.

There are 4 luxury self-catering, one-bedroom units with a private stoep and braai facility, as well as a 3-bedroom self-catering apartment. Each of the units has its own LCD flat-screen TV, with selected DStv channels. There is a mini kitchenette with a bar fridge and microwave oven, for those nights you don't wish to braai.
There is a sleeper couch in the living area, ideally for children, and linen and towels are provided, as is complimentary tea and coffee. The parking is secure, and smoking is only permitted outside.
