Although the bed was comfortable and breakfast was enjoyable, we had to ask for a kettle to be brought to the room, and the curtain was coming off the rail and wasn't fixed after we requested it, and there was no remote for the air conditioner.

It would be good to say on the website that you must book breakfast in advance. After all, it is a B&B, so one assumes breakfast is included. Would not recommend it for older people, who have difficulty moving. Especially not in the evening. The ascent after the evening opening is still acceptable, but the stairs down can be dangerous and difficult.
We were in room no 1, in need of maintenance and a good paint job. The shower needs a good scrub and the bathroom was definitely not cleaned after the previous guests stayed there (soap drops and splashes on the shower panes, as well as hair in the tub!). At least the bedding was clean and good enough for a quick sleepover.
We got a quote for a B&B. When we arrived, no one said where the room was, had to ask to show us. It was then said that breakfast was not included. Then paid for breakfast, but what you ask for and what you get does not match. Ask for a soft egg, you get a hard egg. For us, it wasn't good at all.
For the amount we paid, we found everything adequate. It was in a safe location and we found the breakfast adequate. Will recommend Addis to friends or use again in the future.
The neatness of this guest house is the first thing I noticed. The sea view is beautiful. The accommodation is relatively far from the beach and restaurants. I found the finer detail to be lacking. Even though there was a fridge in the room, there was no diet cool drink of sweetener and my spouse is diabetic. The breakfast is just breakfast, nothing new or special. By day three we opted to eat breakfast some place else. The toilet leaked and we didn't have hot water on the first night, but the problem was fixed the next evening.
There is a microwave in the room. Two plates and cutlery would have been convenient. We booked for a 2-year-old child, but no provision was made for him. He had to sleep between his parents which fortunately was not a problem as the bed is extra large.
I would recommend this B&B to all visiting the area.
The guest house is one of the best I have stayed at. Nicely maintained, neat rooms and nice decor. Good breakfast and prompt service. Also love that each room has its own kitchenette. Very handy. Will definitely book with Addis again.

We were without electricity for almost a day. Television did not work one night.
We booked a room for our technical team, since they had to do an installation in Umhlanga. The company was not ready for us, so we had to postpone the booking. The establishment said its not their problem. I lost the 3K. Rules are rules... but come on... I can understand forfetting a night, but we wanted to book for longer next week. And for our future monthly site visits... Customer service is non existent.
