Accommodation is available in 2 beautiful self-catering units on the riverbank, one upstairs and one downstairs. Each unit has its own private entrance with stunning views over the river and a private braai area. There is a shared pool at the back of the main house where the owners live.
If you are travelling for business then a continental breakfast with a packed lunch can be arranged. If you are travelling for pleasure and do not feel like cooking your own food then you can take a relaxing stroll in the morning on the Riverbank along the Sundays River to the Taste of Africa Restaurant for a delicious breakfast or lunch. Alternatively, for lunch, you can do a braai in one of the picnic areas of the Addo Elephant Park and for dinner, you can stop over at the Grunters Pub & Grub who's well known for its quality steaks.

8 guests' feedbackWe and our son and his girlfriend were there. Place suitable for 4 people, but one double bed and a sofa bed. Not comfortable for 4 adults and no privacy, no doors at bedroom or dressing space at shower. Very cute place for married couple going there alone or with small children. Rest of people have to sit outside if 1 person wants to shower. Sofa bed not comfortable for adults, but that's my own fault. I just assumed it would be beds. I should have looked better on the internet, but we had a great stay despite that.
Relaxing place to stay.
Unusual. Excellent sheets. Wonderful views. Close access to Addo and Spar. Good location for film shoot.
Price is expensive for the off season and amenities, compared to other similar accommodations. Somewhat cramped - sink and shower. Actually, there are too many things inside the apartment. The bath is redundant - space can be used better.
Very nice view of the river and a comfortable place to hang out under the cover of the braai.
The owners are immigrating and there is no service. The unit's kitchen is outside, hellish stairs, and the braai was still dirty when we wanted to braai. We were given 2 bags of wood to burn the dirty grill clean. It must have been a cute place a long time ago, but is now very run down. It's a river front unit, very nice, but I don't think too safe. It's probably fine if you just want to fish and don't care about the above stuff. For a R900 per day place to stay I am very disappointed.
You can do fishing if you have a fishing permit.
Very friendly hosts, more than willing to assist with anything we needed. Most enjoyable stay. Keep up the good work, Bertie and Maggie.
