Reception was well, and the place was very peaceful.
We were welcomed at the gate as if we were long lost family. Hostess took us through to our place and explained everything that was necessary and important to know. Every day or two comes to check that everything is still ok and if we need anything.
Nice place in a quiet area of town. Friendly people and really reasonable for what you get.
We walked every day, it was safe and very beautiful. Our stay was very pleasant and our host and wife were fantastic. I definitely recommend it and would go back anytime.
Afri Spaans is definitely a quiet hangout with value for money.
People were friendly, shops were close by and the accommodation was clean, neat and tidy on arrival. Sufficient crockery, cutlery. Beds were clean. Wi-Fi for us was additional bonus and no problems with the DStv. Thank you Estelle.
The places are nice and spacious with a nice bathroom and 2 nice verandas. A small oven with 2 plates would perhaps be a good asset for the apartment as it is difficult to cook food on the gas grill, especially if the weather is not nice outside and you don't want to go out to eat.
I just think they should get a stove and plates because it was difficult to make food on a gas grill and maybe get a small braai and also a broom and a shovel.
We felt so welcomed at Afri Spaans. We were greeted with a Champagne, Lindors, bottled water was packed in the fridge and milk, coffee and sugar was supplied as well as gas for the braai. We had plenty of privacy and the hosts are a lovely couple who were very hospitable and also advised us on great places to see in the area, which we did and we were definitely not disappointed. Bientang Cave was beautiful and the food was amazing and Grotto beach was the perfect place to end off our weekend away. Thanks to our hosts Estelle and Jack.
Everything was in place when we got there.
