Staff were friendly, place is neat and clean.
Papers were not picked up and there was a very noisy group in front of our rooms, under the awning, until after 22:00. The impression from the outside is less good than the cleanliness of the rooms, there were also some bedside lamps that did not work. We had 3 rooms. The exterior, such as the entrance steps, lacks care and the environment is noisy on a Saturday night. If one is only interested in overnight accommodation it is good value for money.
Please include microwave to warm up food.
Sprinklers were on most of the evening which was a bit disturbing and shower in the one room floor was a bit dirty and drain blocked. Furthermore, it was very peaceful and comfortable for the one night we stayed there.
Would never recommend the place. The drains are rotten - you don't even want to go into that bathroom. Really very disappointed.
Change beds, they were making noise.
We enjoyed our stay in the mountainous area. Very secure place for people who want peace.
The staff are very helpful.
If you plan to literally just sleep there, it's probably not a bad option, but if you expect a little more than just an overnight stay, I don't suggest booking with their accommodation at all. Firstly there is no working swimming pool as advertised, i.e. false advertising, secondly the bathrooms are not in very good condition and thirdly there was no generator to provide power if the power went out as happened to us the next morning. All in all, it was not a good experience for me at all.
Very neat and clean place.
No electricity in the entire town from 17:00 to 20:00 every night and 06:00 to 08:00 each morning.
No hot water, shower was out of order.
I don't have much criticism of the lodge, except that they say that breakfast is included in the rate, which is not the case. I would have to pay R105 for breakfast. Then ate at the Wimpy in Thabazimbi. Although the room was equipped for 2 guests, there was only one coffee cup available. Overall overnight stay was satisfactory.
The single bed only had a protector but no sheet. Need to improve their booking system and preparing of rooms.
