Most beautiful garden next to the forest. Night owls and birds and all the sounds of the forest. Too wonderful. Cielie was so nice. Outstanding.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly. My room was clean, warm and felt like home. Fully furnished with fresh, clean linen, towels and an extra blanket. I truly enjoyed my stay and so wish I had stayed longer. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back with my partner in the near future ️️.
We were very warmly received and the place was well-kept and cosily furnished. The garden is beautiful and full of trees. Being bird watchers, the location of the cottage suited us well. We could also watch birds from the porch. We would have loved to stay a day longer.
The Giant Kingfisher cottage was much bigger than anticipated, very clean, had everything we needed and is set in a beautiful garden. We will definitely be back.
Celie and Jaap were the most welcoming and excellent hosts. They were very helpful in all ways. The unit was spotless and serviced to the same standard every day, including clean towels. I am planning a return trip to Eshowe later in the year and will definitely use African Dwarf Kingfisher again.

We stayed in the "Dwarf" room. The room itself is very small, but is really all that you need. The owner has gone to a lot of effort to make it comfortable, and the unit is equipped with everything you might need. We stayed 2 nights, and the room was cleaned beautifully during our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, with a room situated right at the bottom of a very green, leafy garden. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had 10 people - it was a lovely space to be in together. Very clean, good parking and nice lounge area. One room was a bit too tiny. The TV had nothing to watch - need more channels. No WiFi either. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

Jaap en Cielie are very nice people. The unit was clean and well appointed. Although we were supposed to check out at 10 am Cielie allowed us to leave our luggage in the room while we went out for the day. The Unit we had (Pygmy Kingfisher) faced on to a beautiful treed area with a deck where we could sit and have breakfast while listening to the birds.
I like the surroundings, especially that little forest behind the house.
We were very kindly welcomed and had a great stay. It's a pity that we only stayed there for one night. It would have been especially nice to enjoy the flora and the garden!
The hospitality of owners Jaap and Cielie was great since they went out of their way to make our stay as convenient as possible. Accommodation is in a beautiful, scenic and conveniently located area. Clean, pretty, convenient accommodation.
