We only use it overnight but still enjoy going there. The view is beautiful and the chalet has everything you need and it is accompanied by excellent service.
Inform guests when loadshedding, there was no water during loadshedding! Pretty bad!
A washbasin would be great as travelling with a baby requires washing of bottles.
Beautiful thatched cottages, and very safe onsite parking. Beautiful Peacocks greet us for breakfast. A great stay in Piet Ratief. Jan even followed up with us the following day to make sure we reached our next destination. A great stay and is highly recommended.

Our party consisted of a single person and a family of four and the accommodation was custom made. Very neat facilities with everything needed in self-catering. However, also received a very tasty and nice breakfast. Definitely an excellent overnight stay, and even for a few days.

We arrived there on Sunday 25 April. The guest house is on Ermelo's side before you drive into Piet Retief. There was a severe riot in Piet Retief due to the alleged murder of two farm workers by a number of farmers. The owner of the guest house was very concerned about our safety and he and another person took us by detours through Piet Retief very early on Monday 26 April. It therefore speaks of excellent service to ensure safety of its customers. We can certainly pass on a warm word of thanks to Jan.

Very well located along main routes and not too far from businesses in town itself. Well furnished with necessary items. Lighting better after previous "complaint". Tableware available for takeaway use. Professional and friendly service. Only stayed overnight but found it good as last year. Can definitely be recommended.
Everything was quite fine except for the lighting at night. It didn't really suffice especially for older people still wanting to read. Otherwise accommodation was pleasant. Breakfast was serviced in the room and well presented. Thank you for that.

Would have received a perfect score, but for the fact it is right on the highway with many trucks going by. No plugs near table for computer. Other than that is was fabulous, spacious shower, luxury bed with nice fresh linen, all other amenities first class. Breakfast is divine.
